overworkedirish
Two questions: 1) Was this guy a half-season wonder only because Manning makes everyone good on the field? 2) Any reason why Indy doesn't run 2-TE sets with the skills (debated in question 1) Tamme showed last season? They really have nothing to lose at this point.

skylive5
Tamme has been injured. Concussion.
Brentastic
Tamme only shined last year because Dallas Clark was out with a wrist injury. So even if Peyton was healthy this year, Tamme would not be fantasy relevant.

I'm not asking for fantasy relevance, just wondering why he hasn't seen action in two TE sets because he looked good for his limited time as the TE1 during Clark's injury. Then don't ask stupid questions It would seem the Colts have plenty enough weapons right now to where they don't need to run 2 TE sets (they're not even able to get the ball to Clark enough). They need a QB who can get them the ball.... And even if they were running 2 TE sets, what makes you think that would give him much fantasy relevance at all? And yes, in answer to your first question, it was most likely Peyton that made Tamme fantasy relevant, in addition to Clark being out. ABearWithFurniture
Tamme has been in, he's just been trying to block a few of the 18 guys the defense has in the box every play...or I think what Collins was seeing was about 18... gilthorp
Must be the name. 1. Yes 2. It's not part of the scheme. Let me ask you a question - do you think any NFL team changes offensive systems during their work weeks, during a season? Do you have any idea how stupid, difficult, and dangerous that would be? CaptainHook
When the Colts run two TE sets, it's been with Brody Eldridge, because he's the better blocker. When they bring in an extra receiver, it's gonna be Collie, not Tamme. Tamme is strictly Dallas Clark's back-up. He's not the Colts #2 TE. I know this not because I've seen him play but because I drafted him on my Madden franchise team
