The Wolf
Like many Huddlers, I am also trying to acquire CJ on the cheap. Thought it would be interesting for those who have been successful to post their trades here. Interested to know the value that has been given for the potentially explosive back. Quick edit: this is not an advice posting. With the discussion in another thread about wheather to buy low on CJ, I simply thought it would be interesting what "buy low" really meant. Carry on! GMac
I traded for Chris Johnson in exchange for Shonn Greene, Percy Harvin, Devery Hendersen and CJ Spiller
Avernus
I'd wait until he heads into his bye week to buy him on the dirt cheap....this week he plays the Browns D where he may get something in, but follow that up with a Steelers matchup and a bye.......buy him on the low-low when the owner needs a warm body to fill the roster spot... his schedule gets much lighter after the bye imo.. theprofessor
Traded Brandon Marshall for him last week.
Chloroform Rx
Attempted to trade away Ryan Mathews and Julio Jones for him. Owner rarely ever makes trades but was sitting 0-3. He rejected it.

When he goes off this weekend, that "dirt cheap" window closes.

The Wolf
Traded Brandon Marshall for him last week. The CJ owner is mulling making me an official offer of Jahvid Best and Marshall for CJ. RBs don't get PPR in our league but receivers get .5 ppr. If he offers that I will not be able to accept fast enough.
ffb
Stafford, Blount and Bryant (ATL) to get CJ2K and Schaub (who turned into Brees)
montster
In my 14-team PPR redraft, the CJ owner was 0-2 last week. I offered MJD and McGahee for CJ and Helu. He responded that it was a fair deal, but he wanted to hold on for one more week. He's 0-3 now. I haven't made him another offer. (I realize this doesn't fall under the category of "successful" deals, but just provided it for perspective.)
gogators
I trade CJ and Dez for Mike Wallace and Starks last week. I don't have faith in CJ anymore. Britt going down means defenses are going to stack the box on an already bad O-Line.
mrbass24
Drafted Big Ben, as my starter and picked up Fitzpatrick late in the draft and Newton of the wire. Had was struggling at QB with Freeman as starter and Henne as a back up. I gave up Big Ben and Benson for CJ. He was trying to pawn CJ off on everyone....so I pounced. I still have Sproles and Matthews. :-)
supadupafly87
For the people that keep saying they're going to stack the box....Isn't that what they've been doing for the past 2 years??? Never seemed to stop him before, why now?
michaelman
I traded CJ AWAY... and I regret it. CJ + Witten = Fitz + Graham.... Me no Likey...

Avernus
Travis Henry? him too...but that line was just a joke to any player that claims he has to feed his family (Terrell Owens)

Never seemed to stop him before, why now? He also hasn't looked this bad before in his career. Approaching 50 carries and has a 2.1 YPC?!? Clearly this isn't the same Chris Johnson that is known as CJ2K because he averaged below 3.0 YPC twice in his rookie year, 0 times in his 2000 yard year, and 5 times last year. He is 3/3 this year for under 3.0 YPC. I'd stay away. His high price makes no sense.

Double Agent
If he stinks this week I might be able to get him for a kicker.
