MistaWrite
As a patient Foster owner (mainly because I also own Ben Tate =)) I just wanted to show some appreciation to my first round (picked 3rd in a 12-teamer) pick - and see how many other wanted to do the same. P.S. The fact that he put 150+ yards AND a touch on the STEELERS either means A) he's ready to DOMINATE AGAIN or the Steeler's D has officially aged/worsened out of every week starter status. tosberg34
Yeah, great. The week I have to play against him. Thanks, Foster. Couldn't you stay hurt for one more lousy week?

Haha, know how ya feel. Didn't have to play Foster, but in my big money league I had to play against Vick, DJax, Bowe. Felt like his whole team had a breakout game. loaf
rushed me to a high score in one league (so far) well worth the 1-2 start

WashingtonD
Loved it. He's far more talented than Ben Tate, and the folks that deluded themselves into thinking that Tate and Foster would be in some sort of a 50/50 RBBC, are just that...deluded. (yes I know Tate pulled his groin...but Foster is and will continue to be the dominant RB in that backfield while healthy)

Best parts about yesterday if you're a Foster owner: 1) the massive workload - 30 touches what? 2) the Tate injury - goodbye carry threat 3) the Johnson injury - hello ground game
i_am_the_swammi
Best parts about yesterday if you're a Foster owner:1) the massive workload - 30 touches what? 2) the Tate injury - goodbye carry threat 3) the Johnson injury - hello ground game And perhaps the worst part: 3) the Johnson injury - hello 8 men in the box Foster never had to face stacked fronts with Johnson outside commanding double-coverage. As a Foster owner, I am hoping for a quick AJ recovery so we don't have to find out.
nelsosi
The Texans are still enough of a vertical threat that I don't see the Johnson injury changing the way defenses approach them
delusions of grandeur
The Texans are still enough of a vertical threat that I don't see the Johnson injury changing the way defenses approach them Jacoby Jones might be able to get vertical, but I wouldn't call him a threat... I'm guessing you didn't read the fantasy recap from the game: "Kevin Walter and Jacoby Jones combined for zero catches on two targets as Houston went into a short-game, run-heavy offensive shell following AJ’s departure." I remember there were some stats floating around a while back that showed that the Texans with and without Daniels were night and day, a passing team with him and a running team without him... Of course this did coincide with the emergence of Foster, but I'd say that losing Andre, along with an improved defense to be able to play ball-control, is going to completely change their offensive philosophy and the way teams gameplan for them. nelsosi
I fully expect the Texans will go heavy on the ground with Johnson out. But I think they are still enough of a passing threat that defenses won't be able to sell out and stack the box. That's my point - I think the Johnson injury helps Foster more than it hurts him Edited October 3, 2011 by nelsosi
