I just won my fantasy baseball league after starting 2-6. have to agree here started 1-6 last year, then ripped off 6 straight wins to finish 7-6, made the final playoff spot and won the championship. that said, in the same league this year, we're 2-2, but trending in the wrong direction. none of our "studs" with the exception of McFadden are doing much of anything start QB, WR, WR, WR, RB, RB, TE, PK, DST. scoring: 1 pt/20 yds passing, 1 pt/10 yds rush/receive, all TDs 6 pts, .5 PPR QB - Freeman / Grossman (our QB play is killing us) WR - White / Wayne / Marshall / Amendola / Henderson (badly underperforming WRs) RB - McFadden / Greene / Tolbert / McGahee (beyond McFadden...vomit) TE - V.Davis / F.Davis (we've literally picked the wrong TE every single week, so...user error) PK - M.Bryant DST - Green Bay I can see 2-2 becoming 3-7 pretty easily Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Outshined Posted October 3, 2011 Share Posted October 3, 2011 I have too many bad teams to post them here 4 leagues: 0-3 and I should win this tonight. 1-2 and in danger of going 1-3 if Mike Williams does not get 25 yards and a TD. 1-3 - lost to the Arian Foster team this week 2-2 - my best team, just had bad luck. 5-10 and hopefully 6-10. More than half of my losses were against QB's who went off. This is the worst start to a year I have ever had. All is not lost. Last offensive play that mattered, Austin Collie catches a 5 yard pass to make my outstanding team a dismal 0-4 and lose this one by .06 points. Disgusting. I scored over 119 points and have TWO first round picks on my team and I'm 0-4. Time to make a comeback.... Still possible and should happen with this team. DANGIT! gardenthug Posted October 5, 2011 Share Posted October 5, 2011 1-3. Two weeks in a row, I've watched one of my starting WR's crumble to the ground like a sack of potatoes. I've lost Britt, Gates and now Andre Johnson. What was turning out to be a title winning duo at WR tunred into the Percy Harvin and Robert Meachem show. To make matters worse, I have Schaub at QB. The loss of Johnson will sapp value from Schaub as well. I haven't even mentioned Hightower and Tolbert, both who've seen their stock plummet over the last 2 weeks. My only bright spots has been DMc, Tony Gonzalez and Blount to some degree. This is my long running money league. I've been to the championship game the last 3 years, winning 2. Fitz Mediocre at best and Hines Ward is freaking PATHETIC!!! ETA: I did get Fred Jackson in the 8th round and he hs helped out exponentially.
