BeeR
Who ya think? STL looking bad but there's no way they go for Luck with Bradford around, even if he/the team do poorly all year. JAX doubtful due to Gabbert as well but I left them in. IMO the Fins are the leading candidate right now.
flemingd
Wow I can't even pick one, there are so many good choices. It's like being at a porn convention.

bpwallace49
I voted other with Minnesota. Even though the Vikes may get the 31 overall pick, with Ponder in town they will trade the pick. With the new rookie pay scales, draft picks have never been more valuable at the top end of the draft, and Minny can ask for a kings ransom for the pick. BeeR
I think with Ponder the Vikes would also lean to passing but who knows, they or JAX might be more fired up about it than I'm expecting.

BeeR
lol. That trade was Irsay (Sr) like in its stupidity.
MikesVikes
The fact that Leslie Frazier doesn't want to give up on this season by benching McNabb only leads to one direction. GAME OVER. Vikings get him with or without the coach along for the ride. The Chiefs just beat the Vikes and Denver plays the Vikes later this year so they won't get any Luck either. RJV
no Rams or Vikings?....this game cheats Even if the Rams do get the #1 pick, they will stick with Bradford and auction off the #1 pick for a BOAT LOAD!! of picks and trades. Remember, this new CBA makes teams want to have the #1 pick. Edited October 3, 2011 by RJV
tazinib1
Colts. You don't just fold a franchise like that. Manning may stick around for awhile, but why not have a Young to a Montana?

cdrudge
and who better to study under than Manning?I know that there is a difference in beginning talent between Luck and others, but being an understudy/bench-warmer hasn't exactly helped Curtis Painter, Jim Sorgi, Brock Huard... I've wondered about what Manning will do when he retires. I'm not so sure how good of a OC or coach he would be due to his ability to run the entire offensive side of the game, but he wouldn't actually be the one in the game. Perhaps because they weren't near the talent Luck is. None of them were a top draft pick and it wasn't by accident. I've wondered about what Manning will do when he retires. I'm not so sure how good of a OC or coach he would be due to his ability to run the entire offensive side of the game, but he wouldn't actually be the one in the game. Hard to say....seems to me the best coaches usually weren't great players and few if any were QBs (none I can think of in pros, few in college - Spurrier comes to mind). mrbass24
With the new Rookie scale I could see the Jags and Viks getting some good value from teams to move up, if they land there. Why does is just seem that he will some how fall into INDY and take off from there after learning from Manning..
Outshined
Why wouldn't the Vikings draft him if they had the 1st pick. I would for sure. Ponder is no gaurantee to be around for 10 years. That would make for a good QB competetion. Trade one of them for draft picks if they both turn out or keep they crappy one on the bench. The Cowboys spent back to back 1st round picks when they drafted Aikman. They took Walsh with the 1st round supplemental pick in the same year, so basically it was back to back 1st round picks. injendsm
The Dolphins will be lucky to win a game, let alone more than enough to keep them from winning the Luck sweepstakes. It's hard to win when no one on the team gives a crap.
Chadman
While I can't think the Vikes won't win a few games with the talent they have, I'm beginning to wonder. The Colts look pretty solid to me the past couple of weeks and I can't see them not getting it done a coupla times. Have not seen the Dolphins at all but they seem pretty bad every week. Denver might have trouble picking up the pieces after last week, but have some offensive talent and Fox seems to have always been solid defensively and might turn that around. The Chiefs will have trouble winning away from home, but those home games are so crazy they seem to usually have a shot. Jax run D is pretty good and if Gabbert progresses and MJD can get it going they should get some wins. This is a real dogfight, literally. delusions of grandeur
This is a real dogfight, literally. I love our overuse of the word literally these days. I can assure you that a literal dogfight won't break out in this race... Unless the Eagles have the #1 pick
rajncajn
Out of that bunch I would say Miami is the best bet to take him. However, I think there are a number of teams not on that list that would be willing to trade up for him. Washington, Tennessee, Oakland, Dallas, Philly, Chicago & Seattle all come to mind.
