Waiver Wire - Huddle Projections

Anybody else in leagues that process weekly waiver claims early Wednesday morning? Like 3:00 AM? The Huddle doesn't post the "rest of the year" projections until Wednesday...would be a good tool to have on Tuesdays to make those waiver claim decisions, no?

Yes i know thanks...but am talking about the projections for all players for the week and for the season.

Thx anyway.

So, to be clear, as DMD does the projections manually each week taking into consideration matchups, recent injuries, past perofrmance, etc., you would like him to have this prepared on Tuesday, before much in the way of injury information, etc, is known,

Anyway, to the point of your question, I have been in leagues that process claims early, but I hate it for many of the same reasons that I don;t expect DMD to have projections updated that quickly - info just isn't available that early to be able to make informed decisions. This is why I prefer a Thursday run at the earliest, maybe late Wednesday night. Allows time for information to get out and be processed.

The OP Is talking about rest-of-the-year value, at least at first.

Although the main page says they update Wednesday, Tuvey has written a few times that he tries to update them Tuesday evening if possible for exactly the reason of early Wed AM waivers. I just checked and they've already been updated this evening.

So how many ff Leagues exist in the world? Not many that Henry Muto aren't in but I would still think it would be a very large number. Some leaguers in Tallahasse, FL run waivers at 2 AM Wed morning, yet there's still another league in Ketchum, ID that don't run there's until 11 am on Thurs. So many leagues, so many rules.

It's way over my head. I still can't figure out how Santa Claus makes all his deliveries on a single night. I need to know this.

Yes, that's what I'm talking about. Just checked it out, and the good news is, it is posted before I have to make my waiver selections. I completely understand that more info comes in during the week that can affect the rankings, but the fact is, Tuesday night is waiver claim night, and this is always a good tool to have in making those Tuesday decisions. All other sites post on Tuesdays too, I just happen to put a little more weight into the Huddle rankings.

Thanks for the feedback.

I can pretty much guarantee this is not quite an accurate statement.

That said, I too put more stock in the Huddle rankings as well

Okay, fine....let's just say "all other sites that I reference"...ESPN/CBS/FF Toolbox. If you have others that you would like to recommend, I'd be more than happy to add them to the list. You can only look at so many, but if anybody has any that they feel are quality, I'm all ears. I'm just seeking info to make good decisions.

Cool?
