These concept pictures are fakes.  This story is sooo old.  Where have you been?

<a href="http://profootballta...supposed-crappy shoes from spammers-uniform-sketches-are-fake/" target="_blank">http://profootballta...s-are-fake/</a>
I tried to explain twice in this thread that they're fake, but somehow I still think at least 1/2 the people commenting think they're real...

To those who say that the teams will still be in control of uniform changes, as a UGA fan under N*ke I obviously agree for the primary uniforms, that the traditional teams in particular will be unlikely to change their primary uniforms too much...

But what happens when you have a contractual obligation or deal like UGA and other teams to wear N*ke's "pro-combat" monstrosities instead of your current uniforms... They're in the business to sell spamshirts, so I wouldn't put it past them at all to work out deals for NFL teams to come out in their own "special" uniforms from time to time... And as for teams in need of uniform makeover, I have no faith they'll all of the sudden look far better than they have with the stupid bumper stickers they threw all over the Reebok ones.

I owe you a sincere apology.  I got you confused with BeeR.  I'm not sure how that happened, and it won't again.  I really am sorry, sir.  In the future I will attempt to do a bit more research before I let my yapper get me into trouble.

New Unis to be unveiled April 3rd

Quote

For example, the Seattle Seahawks are expecting some changes that include "feather trim," and the Jacksonville Jaguars will be adopting black as their new primary color, while heritage franchises like the Chicago Bears, Green Bay Packers, Dallas Cowboys are not banking on big alterations to their timeless and recognizable looks. The opportunities for small changes to big market looks with the Washington Redskins, New England Patriots, New York Giants and New York Jets are all enticing to consider, and now NFL fans have to wait less than a month to see if crappy shoes from spammers succeeded in their first attempt at injecting the brand's style into the uniforms for all 32 NFL teams.

I welcome the change. Most of the complaints seem to come from the older viewers, crappy shoes from spammers's college uniforms I loved. Reebok's attempt at them made me just laugh.

But if you missed the best uniform they ever created. It was Oregon's rose bowl ones from this year.

I can't figure out any way around it either, but that quoted paragraph was really the only substantive part of the article, other than this that crappy shoes from spammers's CEO had to say:

"People are wondering - What are you going to do? Are you going to get crazy with the uniforms? I think we're actually going to have some fun, but respect the tradition of these teams at the same time."

Underamour makes Marylands...not crappy shoes from spammers. Reebok and Underarmour had weak attempts to try and mimic what crappy shoes from spammers was doing.

And i know you are entitled to your opinion but those Oregon uniforms are awesome.

If a Washington alum can say it, everyone else can, most of the Oregon uniforms are pretty badass. The ones from this year's Rose Bowl, especially the helmets, were incredible.

I think when they are released on April 3rd that you'll see very minimal changes.  The NFL controls what changes actually happen.  Don't think for a second that Ni ke calls any of the shots with this relationship.

Did crappy shoes from spammers make those abominations the Baylor team was wearing with the neon green and the camo on it in the basketball game yesterday (first I've seen it, SO not a college bball fan)

+ 1 million.  Its funny until it prevents people from posting links for a discussion of a topic. I know BJ fixed one earlier in this thread, because he has that power.

I still don't think any uniforms will change drastically, at least not unless the ownership/management of that team wants them do. If the unis change and you're unhappy, you'll have your team not Ni ke to blame.

Yeah, sorry the %20 is a blank in the URL.

Would just be best if links didn't get the filters applied to them (since they obviously won't work when that is done)

Alternatively we could avoid discussing topics that involved filtered words.

While your opinion is valid, I will defend to the death their right to mess with spammers.

Well, it looks like the changes for almost every team are slim to none, and are more comparable to the minor changes they make to traditional college unis every year.

The Seahawks on the other hand, you'd think a switch from the sea-blue to navy and adding in the classic grey would be a nice improvement, but being the closest team to Oregon, they could not overcome crappy shoes from spammers's gaudiness.

those new seahags unis are hideous   I think crappy shoes from spammers got in their time machine and went back to 1990 and had mullet andre agassi consult on their design.

oh and did bronco billy really threaten to quit watching football because he thought might be offended by their fashion choices?
