Chief Dick
So, how bad is this game going to be? Is it possible to have a game where both teams are trying to lose so they hold the loss tiebreaker? Is it possible that we will see three teams this year fight it out to end up winless? Man, what a year for conspiracy theories. You have the Colts maybe tanking this year on purpose by bringing in Collins. You have the Dolphins seriously looking like they are barely trying. You have the Vikings not trying to lose but are still losing. At what point to they pack it in to try for Luck? Can the Rams even win a game, and then what do they do if they have the #1 pick. You have the Broncos starting Tebow and trading away his best option for a WR. This could go down as the most awesome year for ineptitude, because it's getting more comical by the day. Chief Dick
Luck Bowl collides with the Tebow Coronation and Gators Celebrations in the backyard of the Hurricanes. Strange days indeed. Then there's that.
fingfootball
Not so fast...We may have another Archie/Eli Manning deal going down.
Jackass
Not so fast...We may have another Archie/Eli Manning deal going down. Even if that happens, a team would get a kings ransom to trade the pick.

montster
In one of the Monday Night games recently, I swear Gruden mentioned the possibility that Luck could stay in school one more year, but I see he's a senior. Is it possible he could stay in school another year?

Is it possible he could stay in school another year? He is currently in his Junior year of eligibility since he was redshirted his first year, but a senior academically. Or just a redshirt junior Thanks. So, is there any possibility that Luck would play one more year at Stanford? I mean, if he didn't like the team with the top pick and that team couldn't engineer a trade to a more preferable team, has there been talk of him staying at Stanford? A local radio host here was saying with his eligibility, he could graduate from Stanford and enroll into another school for 2012/13 and play one more year. Are there any college teams that could pay him more than the new league rookie scale for next year?
stevegrab
Thanks. So, is there any possibility that Luck would play one more year at Stanford? I mean, if he didn't like the team with the top pick and that team couldn't engineer a trade to a more preferable team, has there been talk of him staying at Stanford? I can see looking at who gets the #1 pick, and the early talk of what they might do with it, what kind of trades they could get, etc. But I think not declaring for the draft based on that would be pretty crazy, especially because you have no way of knowing what really might happen by draft day. So does he decide to not go to the NFL and play another year in college risking injury and no big NFL contract? Possible, but seems unlikely. STL Fan
Mel Kiper dismissed the possibility today basically, talking about how many guys on that team who would not be returning, including his All-American left tackle. Kiper says he is definitely coming out. Take that for what you will.

I don't see STL frying another #1 pick on QB esp with the promise Bradford has shown. Fins need a QB as bad as Colts do if Manning is gone or close to it. Vikes could go for him as well as Ponder has possibilities but isn't about to amaze anyone this year.
