supadupafly87
Who do you guys think will do the best with palmer? Louis Murphy, Denarius Moore, Jacoby Ford, or Heyward-Bey?
bobdog63
Bey...mainly because I picked him up last week! Seriously, he's emerged as the no 1 guy. The only issue is the Palmer may not have the arm anymore to get the ball down the field.
giantsfan
On the surface I think you'd have to say DHB, but honestly the question cannot be answered now. Who knows whom Palmer will look to most. DHB has turned into a complete route runner, so that bodes well for him. Ford may be more of a deep threat, which may hurt him considering Palmer's jello arm. Moore has good skills. But who knows. Money would be on DHB, with Ford second IMO. Edited October 19, 2011 by giantsfan
Lippy225
I hope its Bey who I picked up after his first good game. I was really excited about the prospect of Cambell to DHB after a few of those games...he looked like he was finally coming along and would be a great waiver pick up. Getting a chemistry with the WRs is going to take time I think for Palmer. Its like starting from scratch so I'm not too optimistic.
SLAYER
Ford is basically useless with Palmer at QB, since he can only run long and Palmer can't throw long.
DMD
Ford is basically useless with Palmer at QB, since he can only run long and Palmer can't throw long. You could say the same thing about Bey though. He was the fastest WR in that year class.
SLAYER
You could say the same thing about Bey though. He was the fastest WR in that year class. True but I have seen Bey run some routes lately, can't say the same for Ford.
montster
True but I have seen Bey run some routes lately, can't say the same for Ford. When Boller came in, he was hitting DHB with a lot of stuff over the middle for 10-15 yards. I'm hoping that continues with Palmer.
giantsfan
I was reading an article on DHB last week, and they said one of the reasons they believe he has turned the corner is that he is now a complete route runner. In the past all he did was run go patterns, that is not the case anymore. They called out the fact that he is now catching the ball on short and intermediate routes and running crisp routes. That is the big change in him. So sure he is still fast, but he now can run complete routes, which is what he was lacking before. Now with that said, who knows who Palmer's guy will be once he gets in there.
damageinc
DHB just seems like a different player now. I say easily DHB and a little to Ford with his speed. D Moore is good for the spectacular catch but again the one to own is DHB .

supadupafly87
No mention of Louis Murphy in this thread yet? That's what I was thinking....I mean, he was the number 1 wr last year.

delusions of grandeur
Banking on a Raider reciever is like assuming you know what a woman is thinking... The more you think you've got it figured out, the more you probably don't have a clue... We'll see if Palmer can finally change that, or if it continues to be a weekly guessing game. damageinc
Yeah I had both Ford and Moore and got rid of them both. I cant stand the headaches. I would have kept DHB if I had him.
