Slugs3511
I know it 's a little premature being only 6 weeks in, but lets face it.....playoffs start in week 14 so.....Who do you think will be worth their weight in gold? Whether it be a coming out surprise or a starter that got hurt that allows for a great second half of the season..... Any QB, WR, or RB... Bottom line,,,,,,,a player not drafted in most leagues.....are the rules.... EX: Maurice Morris, Battle....etc..... I am going with: Hardesty.... Schedule is relatively easy.... Hillis is a mess... and I got him on waivers....which never is good for me...but it 's a stab in the dark... Who you got?

Double Agent
IMO Hardesty has very little value. Too many drops. I put my money on Morris. We'll see.

rajncajn
Hardersty sucks, he's a pipe dream. He's had plenty of chances to do something & he's just not ready or just doesn't have it. The same can be said for Murray. He's got a much softer schedule, but the bad thing about him is he'll be sharing time no matter what. I wouldn't touch either one. I'd look Detroit's way for a RB3, but it's going to take at least another week to get that sorted out. In that division you absolutely HAVE to run the ball once the cold sets in. Whoever ends up taking the job from Best should end up a decent flex, But a flex at best (no pun intended). To be totally honest, six weeks into the season, I think owners will be very hard-pressed to find any player to help them in the playoffs. The only fluid situations that I'm seeing right now are with teams that are struggling and therefore it's going to be difficult to find consistency among any individual. (see Rams WR's etc) If you're looking for players now to ride you to a championship then you're better off preparing for next season. rajncajn
Got that figured out after 24 carries huh? Ok, you buy into the hype. Show me what he's done (including college) to warrant taking a shot on at this point. Keep in mind before you answer that he couldn't win the job before... BleedingGreen
I dont want to throw water on the Murray party, but I read somewhere that he was waving and taking himself out of the game when he was winded after Jones went down. Mightve even been here on the huddle. Not sure. If so, that's freaking insane. Dude has a golden opportunity to shine and he's waving himself off? Wouldn't even bother with him. montster
In that division you absolutely HAVE to run the ball once the cold sets in. Not totally true. I picked up Morris in a dynasty and am very thin at RB, so I hope he does well. But Detroit's away games from November on (not including week 17) are at Chicago, at New Orleans and at Oakland. The rest are at home in the Silverdome.

Double Agent
Dallas cannot run the ball. If you depend on Murray then you're in big trouble. Hope I'm wrong.
Seahawk
Some of the guys I might have or would have listed have already been mentioned. Some that haven't Danario Alexander. I pick him up last week before the trade for Lloyd. to be honest his value for me doesn't get hurt much by it. But with Clayton return i fear there just might be too many options now. I think Clayton or Danario Alexander will be huge down the stretch which one I'm not sure I bet on Danario. Doug Baldwin Seattle homer what can I say Jared Cook I like the way Hasselbeck has always been able to use his tight ends. He'll be hit and miss most weeks no doubt but the tight end position is so spars. He's definatly worth a look. Probably not around in 10 team leagues or more. If I had the room and if he was available Michael Bush would be rostered on my team. Raiders are already a run heavy team. With Boller or Palmer in they'll rely even more and Bush could see some increase touches and if there ever was a clear handcuff to have Bush is it. Tampa did a decent job with Graham, but to keep pace with either team you're going to have to keep the pressure off the QB & that will mean having a respectable ground game. You said in that division you absolutely have to run the ball when the cold sets in. I assumed you meant that, because cold weather can adversely affect the passing game, a good run game is necessary. I was pointing out that, after Detroit's week 8 bye, five of its following seven games are in a dome, and another one is at Oakland, which is still about 50 degrees in December. If you're simply pointing out that it helps your team's offense if it has a good ground game, then, yes, I wholeheartedly agree.

Was tempted to pick him up, but I was thinking he would be decent maybe one out of every three or four weeks at best...especially with Baltimore, a rather fantasy unfriendly offense historically. Lippy225
I have been devistated by by J. Charles, D. Will and Addai as my 1-2-3. (It's ok to chuckle now) But by some miracle I am 4-2. I have had about 8 different RBs over the last 4 weeks and I am adding and dropping like a maniac. But I managed to grab D Murray and M Morris. I know it isn't pretty but it's who I have to go to war with. I already went with Redman and Hunter but I had to drop b/c I don't have the bench space forthem with Mendy and Gore healing up and doing well. I've gotta go with who will get the touches instead of who will be a beast if the #1 RB goes down. Unforatunately that is the position I am in, but its fun to be over- managing like Tony Larussa! I cannot argue with the first point , as that is an opinion but I hardly think he has gotten "plenty of chances" . He got hurt innpreseason last year, his first, and when he got back Hillis had a stranglehold on the job. Lets see what he does now.
