Honestly I doubt it'll be this week....he's averaging roughly 12 carries a week and has a measly 3.4 YPC (albeit he's a goal-line back now, though he's relatively ineffective at that..)

Why would they give him the ball more when it sure seems like he isn't a guy who does better when you give him a good amount of touches (case in point he got 17 carries against JAX and averaged 3.2 YPC and had 0 TD's.)

But the Colts are a good matchup for him and I think he'll get some garbage time carries, but I still think he winds up with 12-40-1..

It's absolutely absurd you are calling his floor 17-72-1. That would tie his high this season in carries and TD's and have him averaging (again a season high) 4.2 YPC....that's your floor? I see that as the ceiling....

This is the week for the 4th week in a row!

he's had a TD in 3 of the last 4 games, he's just not getting enough carries or he's being put in situations that are obvious runs. He's still a good flex option.

Got him in a deep keeper where Rice and Mathews are my #1 and #2, so I can afford to wait. They really need to start making teams pay for stacking the box when he's in the game. I'd like to see Payton get creative and throw in some screens to Ingram, as well as some deep shots through Play Action. They really are showing their hands allot of time depending on which back is in the game. Also, Ingram is a power runner who gets better as the game goes on. I really think with the rotation in the backfield they aren't letting him get into a rhythm, but with Sproles success you really can't question it. I think as the weather gets worse Ingram gets more work and production will follow.

Weather doesn't get worse in the dome.

I was referring to away games, obviously.

obviously due to the frigid temps in Alanta and Carolina. Don't forget St. Louis & Nashville.

I'm sure Saints homers agree with me, but it's obvious that Ingram has to be more involved going forward. Brees is throwing way too many INT's, the one inside the 5 last week was horrible. For this team to reach it's potential, Ingram has to get 20 touches. Sproles is great, but you can't expect him to hold up to a heavy workload, and Pierre Thomas doesn't do much. In addition to using him in play action, get him more involved in the passing game all around. He has the skills to catch the ball, and is a willing and capable blocker.

Anyone who says Ingram hasn't been solid to good is simply going by the box score instead of actually seeing him play. If given Cedric Bensons workload we'd be talking about a top 10 RB right now.

The Saints have a bad case of Breesitis and just like last year it will be a quick exit if we don't start running the ball. and in case you didn't hear Ivory is ready to come of off PUP.

I've read that the coaching staff is in no hurry to get him active for games. Even so, I still seeing him being a threat to PT opposed to Ingram. I still think the best running game that they'll get this year will be Ingram for early downs and RZ, Sproles for third down work and special packages.

So if you guys had the choice between Ryan Grant and Ingram (ppr, scoring favors RBs who catch TDs), who would you choose? I'm in dire need of a RB and am torn between these two. Similar upside, imo.

This is an advice question. Better to ask this in the advice forum.

Who gives a schmit where hes gonna play? Hot weather, cold weather, thunderstorms, hurricanes, if he keeps playing like he is now it won't matter, he'll still suck.

He doesn't suck. He gets all the short yardage runs. Short yardage runs = short yardage.
