wiegie
Let's not get carried away just yet--the Rams are only up 17-0 just before halftime. They still have plenty of time to screw things up.

wiegie
17-0 with 17 seconds in the half?????? Wat up wit dat? Rams got a blocked punt with less than 2 minutes left in the half and turned it into a TD. Then on the next play from scrimmage, Brees threw an INT which the Rams also turned into a TD. loaf
looks like it. What a week for their running game to lay and egg. I mean DeMarco freakin Murray had 250 yards against them. Now we have a second half of Brees digging them out of a hole. Still hopeful Sproles will find some of that Brees lovin

Ursa Majoris
Saints just ran on all three downs of a series when they're 24-0 down more than halfway through the third quarter? Â With all those receiving weapons and Drew Brees? What the heck was all that about?
i_am_the_swammi
Serves Payton right for taking the ball out of PT & Sproles' hands, and giving the carries to a guy who hasn't played this season....pretty silly, and the Saints running game and overall offensive mojo is suffering because of it. wiegie
24-14 with 10:00 left. The Saints scored on a drive that occurred after Brandon Lloyd flat-out dropped a wide-open 3rd down pass that would have gone for 20+ yards.
wiegie
The Rams have 5 penalties for 45 yards in the last 6 plays. Saints ball following a Rams punt.
