LB49ers
safe to say this team is no longer a run heavy team? If I didn't know any better I could've sworn they're a carbon copy of the Pats now, the run is just an after thought now, sucks for me for drafting Mendy

They had a gameplan against the Patriots to throw the ball early and often. I do think that they are realizing that, now that the o-line is coming around and giving Roethlisberger some time, that there strength lies in their passing game. The receiving corps has quickly become their greatest strength. I think they know that they will need to run the ball, but, I certainly think the days of them being a "running" team are over. They will play much more often to their strength, which, right now, is definitely the passing game.

More gameplanning for the opponent IMO Having said that, I do think they will run slightly less than last year, but yesterday won't be indicvative as to the extend. I suppose but they did the same thing against Arz, I know they suck against both run and pass Pitt didn't even try to start running the ball against them either. True, but if memory serves, wasn't Mendy just getting healthy again at that point?
LB49ers
True, but if memory serves, wasn't Mendy just getting healthy again at that point? he just game off a 100+yd and a 1 td game against Jax the week before and prior to that gm, Jax was top 5 or so in terms of defending the run and to start off that Arz game, they ran Mendy 5x or so in the 1st half, so shameful..... Ice717
I suppose but they did the same thing against Arz, I know they suck against both run and pass Pitt didn't even try to start running the ball against them either. Pitt won, saved Mendy a little wear and tear, and gameplanned effectively. Counting on Pitt to be predictable isnt going to happen any longer. They are not just gonna run down your throat. They will hit you where you are the weakest. Arizona at their secondary, NE over the middle of the field. Against Jax they must have noticed holes in their run d and exploited it. Its actually been really impresive coaching and gameplanning. Winning in different ways although fantasy wise sucks is really fun to watch.
