tazinib1
This has to help Housh's value going forward. Yep...he's so much better than the WR set now installed. This is a Tebow-ish move...pure and simple. Some familiarity for Palmer and 1 more year of nice coosh for Housh. Nothing more, nothing less. But yes, I get your sarcasm. I think. Targets would be high I'd think since Palmer pushed for him.

I never ever thought I would say this, but Housh can not carry DHB's jock at this point. And who else would he push?
Savage Beatings
I guess Denarius Moore isn't the answer some of us hoped he would be.

kpholmes
I never ever thought I would say this, but Housh can not carry DHB's jock at this point. And who else would he push? DHB and Moore will continue to split outside, with Housh playing the slot. Palmer brought him in as a safety net for himself. I wouldn't expect much more. He'll be split outside occasionally, but this hurts Jacoby Ford's value more than anyone else imo.
jdub!
Interesting move. Housh has skill but who knows how rusty (or old) he has become. He will be great in the slot as a possession receiver.

That makes it sound like Palmer (signed a couple of weeks ago) is running the whole show for the Raiders. Is he channeling Al Davis? Maybe they can convince the Pats to cut 85 and then sign him as well? These moves by the Raiders seem very strange. Is it possible that McFadden is more hurt than we're hearing, and they have decided to change their offense to the vertical passing game that Al loved so much? kpholmes
Sorry but I think Ford is FAR more talented at his position than Housh. You fcan keep believing tyhe hype though. Slow down there Taz. A. I never said Ford wasn't more talented, I said he would be the one more affected by this. B. What hype? That makes it sound like Palmer (signed a couple of weeks ago) is running the whole show for the Raiders. Is he channeling Al Davis? Seriously guys - this is what it comes down to: Palmer told Hue he would feel more comfortable if he had someone he was familiar with out on the field with him. It wasn't going to be T.O. and Hue coached Housh in Cinccy. Do I expect Housh to be a major contributor? No, not at all. But if having him in the Huddle makes Palmer feel a bit more confident, I don't really care. Does this project a poorly managed franchise? Absolutely. Until the Raiders get a GM in place and Hue stops calling the shots, we're going to see a lot of head scratchers coming from Oakland.
