I know injuries are always a concern, but to drop him is foolish. 10 team league, 9 starters and 7 bench slots and Gates was dropped by somebody? That does seem kind of crazy. I could see if the bench was much shorter (have been seeing some posts with 8 starters and only 2 bench slots) to handle bye. I could ask you the same question... But so I can post something mildly more relevant than Jackass, I'd like to know who Gates was dropped for and what other TEs that owner has? It still doesn't justify dropping Gates but it may lend a little more insight into this move. Maybe he shopped him and got no takers then decided that enough was enough.
