Scorcher
Losing in league, decided to take a hail Mary on the chance he might be out of the dog house!

kpholmes
I dont understand why they're hating on him but yea, benched. New QB came in, worked with the receivers, didn't like the connection with DHB as much as the other guys. Simple as that. Palmer picked Ford/Moore. DHB was in on single receiver passes - it looked like they were going to set up the play action to him on deep fades - it just never happened. You know better than me being a fan, but something had to happen over that bye week I think. Guy went from 4 straight 80 + yard games to not even getting targets. Last night Ford goes out and DHB STILL gets nothing. When Palmer came in against KC he hit DHB a few times. Then I read the two were working together early bye week. Then nothing. If I was a betting man I'd have to bet something happened during that bye week to put DHB in the dog house. I could certainly be wrong, but a string of good games and huge targets down to literally 0 targets last night, and 1 combined in two games since the bye, tells me something had to happen more than a QB change. Guy is last on the depth chart now pretty much. He must have done something during the bye to get demoted I'd think (maybe that something was Palmer saying I hate the routes this guy runs...who knows). With that said, I wonder what Moore is going forward. A solid # 3 WR maybe? Edited November 11, 2011 by giantsfan
wpayers
I dropped him for Earl Bennett. At least Bennett is a lock for targets from Cutler. As far as DHB's value ROS has Jackson become the Shanahan of WRs? Predicting the use of that group has become a challenge. Add Palmer's tendencies into the mix and it's vexing. baddfish2
Waived him in favor of Laurent Robinson ... who may actually replace Desean Jackson in my lineup this weekend.
montster
From Rotoworld: According to Pro Football Focus, Darrius Heyward-Bey was on the field for all but six offensive snaps against the Chargers Thursday night. "Last week it was Jacoby, this week it was Denarius, next week it might be back to Darrius," coach Hue Jackson said. "That's the way things go sometimes." DHB has been targeted just once the past two games compared to nine for Jacoby Ford and 19 for Denarius Moore. His biggest role seems to be as the lone wideout on run-heavy sets -- not exactly a recipe for fantasy success. Even with the Ford injury, we're not holding out hope for Heyward-Bey down the stretch. Nov 11 - 8:44 AM He may have been on the field for every play but they didn't throw to him once. 1 target in 2 games smacks of a bigger issue than route running, or just being covered too often. Either way I'm a little miffed that I gave up on Denarious Moore and didn't keep him after I picked him up between his 2 big games. Or that I didn't grab Vincent Brown last night like I wanted to (even if I didn't start him). Anybody know where we can check player snap counts ourselves? Does the Huddle have something, or NFL site, etc? Edited November 11, 2011 by stevegrab
