BA Baracus
ESPN drives me nuts with this. I can't put him in the IR slot even though everyone and their brother knows he's out. They'll finally make him IR eligible tomorrow and he'll be listed as "Questionable" just in time for next week's waiver run. That's my white whine for today... keggerz
"probably" because the cowboys haven't ruled him out yet...fwiw, the official injury report designation isn't released until friday...anything before that is just speculation on any site you are using...that is unless a player has been ruled out by the team. stevegrab
So your league has an IR slot that can be used for players that are simply OUT for this weeks game (not actually on IR). Then I guess you are the mercy of the official team reports and ESPN site deciding that the guy qualifies as being OUT (or whatever restrictions are in place). Never played with an IR slot, but think it would be interesting although better to limit it to players actually on IR. In fact according to one thing I read he practiced some yesterday (Thursday) but did not return. Where are you getting this "everyone and their brother knows he's out." Bronco Billy
Well, being out for a few weeks would certainly make his chances of playing this week doubtful. Probably has to do with how DAL is reporting the injury to the weekly NFL injury report, I'd guess.
stevegrab
DALLAS COWBOYS ...snips... Practice Report DID NOT PARTICIPATE IN PRACTICE Wednesday WR Miles Austin (hamstring) Thursday WR Miles Austin (hamstring) From CBS.sports Cowboys WR Miles Austin, who suffered another hamstring injury Week 9, did not return to practice Thursday, increasing his chances he will not play Week 10 vs. Buffalo. (Updated 11/10/2011). My bad, I misread this, saw "did not return" and thought he had been practicing.
