I think Lovie had VJax on his fantasy team like me and seeing that VJax is in beast mode today and it's a two-score game, why not let VJax break 200 and get a 2nd TD.....Rivers screws everything up

I disagree... that was an easy toss that should have been made. And if it was completed, people would be praising the move.

Except for the fact that it was thrown by a guy who doesn't normally throw the ball and received by a guy who doesn't normally catch the ball. Other than that, and giving the Chargers a ray of hope in a game that was pretty much over, it was a brilliant move.

It was a fairly safe spot filed position wise to pull it, and a fairly safe situation regardless of outcome. Maybe he just wanted to show it to other teams to slow their rush of his punter in the future and to single up his gunners in the future to improve their coverage.
