DMD
CJ spiller or Kevin Smith ?? Both rbs have taken the shine as of late this week who has more rest of the season upside ?? Kevin Smith gained 16-140 and 4-61 with three touchdowns total last week. CJ Spiller 21-115 and 15-82 with one TD DURING THE LAST TEN GAMES. Kevin Smith scored one more touchdown last week than Spiller has in his entire career. Spiller has never had ten carries in any NFL game ever. Not real close to me. ABearWithFurniture
Smith has ample opportunities though to gain experience/reps. Spiller has really had none of that...think there were only a few games last year where he even came close to 10 overall touches. Smith has been injured quite a bit...Spiller has been stashed on the sidelines and closely monitored. I don't know if you can write CJ off just yet...hopefully the next few games he'll show something. Crazysight
Unless Spiller or one of the other backs steps up, that situation may become more of a RBBC. I don't know about upside but with realy no forseeable competition for Smith I would say he is the safer bet. He's also in the better offense.
