isleseeya Posted December 1, 2011 Share Posted December 1, 2011 I saw that week 11 cooper was targeted 12 times and avant only twice then last week Avant targeted 14 times while Cooper was targeted 7 times What happened from week 11 to week 12 that saw Avant grow in playing time ,looks and catches while Cooper dropped in all across the board going into game tomorrow night any word or idea which receiver should end up starting opposite of desean Jackson and which one offers more upside ? tazinib1 Posted December 1, 2011 Share Posted December 1, 2011 I'm not an Eagle homer but that came out of the blue. Avant had previously had only 4 reception for 35yds in the past 3 games prior. Zooty Posted December 1, 2011 Share Posted December 1, 2011 Avant is the number 3. When Djax was out an now Maclin, Copper has been the one to start out wide. Avant is purely the #3 WR in this offense. I think last week was more of the case of Avant being the guy open underneath as they played catch-up most of the game As far as looks, I think it will depend on who is getting open and what the D is giving them (and how good the CBs are) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
