Here is a Pano I did a about a week ago. It did not come out as great as I would have liked for a few reasons. One the wind was gusting like mad and I was in too much a hurry to really batten down the hatches but in hind sight I wish that I would have taken a few more steps. Two, my secret spot is not so secret anymore and ignorant ass people would not stay out of the way of your lens. But here it is and I have gotten a few requests for prints but I never did and odd sized pano so maybe one of you can tell me something.

You know it is funny BJ, when you shot from that spot and the lights are on the way they are that arch is hard to see. It is there but the arch looks small for the span, IMO. Still, you are correct that it is hard to see. I am taking a few people up there next Friday to help them learn to shoot that shot at night. I will see what is up with that.

And BJ, I am quite impressed that you know what bridge is what. Half the people living in this city don't know which is the Fort Dusquesne and what is the Fort Pitt. Did you know for sure or did you just take a stab at it? Forget that, I forgot this is Big John I am talking to.

Thanks Keg. And what is funny is that I am a landscape sort of guy for sure but I always love to see the wildlife shots and think about sitting in woods waiting to capture things.

That is a stitch of four frames. The file size is unreal. It is 83mb's.

Long story to why but I shot it with the only lens that I had with me. It was my Canon 70-200mm

F11
15 second exposures
ISO 100

I stopped down that far because I really wanted to have the shutter open long so as to have all the light blur from the cars on the roads. In hindsight with all the wind that was going on, I should have sacrificed the long exposures. I am still happy with the shot. I just know it could have been better and it's not often they turn the lights on like that.
