dougsullivan
Use to be one of the best if not the best receiving running back in football, now he averages less than 8 yeards per game kind of stange. With just 4 total touchdowns this year its hard for me to start him.

keggerz
if SF ever wants to turn things around they better think about getting Gore more involved in the passing game
efi4eye
Per Rotoworld: (Rotoworld) Coach Jim Harbaugh admitted that the Niners' offensive scheme has limited Frank Gore's pass-catching opportunities. Analysis: Gore is averaging just 1.4 catches per game this season after averaging 3.6 over the previous five years. That's because the Niners' conservative offense asks him to stay in as a blocker more often than not. The PPR upside is capped here, especially when Gore faces the elite run defenses of the Steelers and Seahawks in Weeks 15 and 16. And yes, I agree - Gore has always been a weapon catching passes out of the backfield, and his stat line is looking more like Michael Turner, but without the touchdowns now. Hey, they're winning games... Edited December 5, 2011 by efi4eye
