Dbaxx
Local league and Doubleheader week for the grande finale before playoffs and he has Vincent Jackson playing Monday night and I have none: Dbaxx: 132.50 Pitt-kings 131.70 Pitt-kings is also playing Los Cool Arrows who has Phillip Rivers and Antonio Gates his score 132.50! Exact same as Dbaxx So PK's loses 2 games BY THE EXACT same score, to 2 different teams in the same night! He does end up making the playoffs by a hair. Dropped from 2nd place in his Division to 4th, but made it. Any other "weird or close" finale's like this? v0dka
Haha, nothing like that but my lost last week was pretty weird. I had a .10 point lead with Burleson and Kasay left to my opponents Morris with under a minute left in the game. New Orleans tried converting on fourth and inches, came up short and the very next play was a dump pass to Morris. Forced me into a must-win situation this week. detlef
Nothing that bad, but one dude, who would have made the play-offs with a win, lost by .22 pts and is now out. Mind you, his total points for the season are pretty shabby and he did start Miles Austin this past week, so it's entirely his fault. But still, that's a pretty slim margin to miss a shot at the money over.
Dont Rookie Me........
Im sure half the people here would love to make the playoffs...where is his/her problem?
nelsosi
and he did start Miles Austin this past weekit sounds harsh, but if he started an inactive player during a 'must win' week he deserves to miss the playoffs
joeyc
I had Rivers and VJax and was down by 51, he had nobody. After the bomb to Floyd, I was down 3 points. With about 10-11 minutes left in the 4th, I needed 6 yards from Rivers to get his 300 yd bonus, and a win. Well, if you watched the game, you know what happened, a 1 play, 31 yd td from Mathews, then Jax gets a few 1st downs and punts to SD with 5 minutes left.....enter Billy Volek. I drop from the 3 seed down to the 5 spot and a horrible matchup in the playoffs. Sweet.
historymike
We had a guy in one league miss the playoffs by a single point (non-fractional scoring). The sad part was he had four players with yardage totals ending in 9, and if even one of those players had one more yard (or even half a yard, depending on official scoring) he would have at least tied his opponent and made the playoffs. All official scoring as in whole yards only. No fractional nor decimal yards are given. But note that gaining a first down or TD is always officially at least a 1 yard gain, even if he advanced the ball only an inch to do so.
