gbpackersfan
If AP doesnt play this weekend I have zero chance of winning my first playoff game. Anyone else in the same boat? BTW per Rotowire: Adrian Peterson admitted Tuesday night that his sprained left ankle is only at 70 percent. With the Vikings at 2-10, it wouldn't make much sense for the Vikings rush their $96 million franchise player back out there. Peterson says he will test his top-end speed and cutting ability on Friday before making a decision, adding that he's played pretty well at 80 percent in the past. Still, the Vikings figure to err strongly on the side of caution here. We wouldn't pencil Peterson into Week 14 lineups just yet.
Brentastic
In the one league that I own AP I've been lucky without him. My other starting RB is Sproles, so all season it's been AP and Sproles. With AP out I've been rolling with Sproles and Ingram - yes, the other NOS RB - but it's worked out well. So I'm not sure AP is my only chance of winning but I could certainly use him in the playoffs. Let's wish ourselves luck!!

I'm playing 2 playoff games this week. Both opponents have AP. I"m thinking he should rest
SpinalTapp
I do not want Harvin to go off again - I face off against his owner in the first round of the playoffs. Let's go AP - suit up!
Jackass
Starting to not look that great.. Minnesota Vikings RB Adrian Peterson (ankle) was unable to practice Wednesday, Dec. 7. Huddle Up: The high ankle sprain, for lack of better terms, sucks. He's reportedly not close to 100% and will probably get a chance to test the ankle in tomorrow or Friday's practice, so we won't know anything on his playing status til then. Stay tuned. Savage Beatings
No chance. High ankle sprain and the team has no reason to rush him back.
BeerLeagueQB
I got Gerhart in there after losing Fred Jackson... McCoy and Jackson were my 1-2 punch that got me to 6-0-2. I'm now 6-5-2...... Oh and I had/have Vick as well... Ya not looking great for my beastly team that destroyed everyone earlier in the season. Oh and did I mention Maclin was my flex? gbpackersfan
Try being the owner of AP, AJ and Desmond Bishop I own AP, Bishop and Forte.. So I feel your pain. They were all fine right up until playoffs.

gbpackersfan
No chance. High ankle sprain and the team has no reason to rush him back. It was a grade 1 sprain, plus it has already been 2 weeks. The team has no motivation for him coming back, but Ive heard a lot of reports that HE really, really wants to play. How do you tell your franchise player that he cant play? (If hes reasonably healthy) On top of the fact that Im sure the Vikings would love to end the Lions playoffs hopes this weekend. Gopher
Try being the owner of AP, AJ and Desmond Bishop I've got AP, Fred Jackson, Bishop, and Fred Davis in one league. Oh, yeah... and Cooley. He's been gone so long I almost forgot about him.
neilfish2
I'm in the other boat. Own Gerhart, facing the AP owner... I have Gerhart, but also have Wells, Starks, & K. Smth currently on roster - and per our league rules, cannot make a waiver move unless players are listed as Doutful or Out. As of right now, all are listed as questionable & possible gametime decisions. Means I'm stuck with only 1 RB. Sucks to be me.
jdub!
I have a bye this week but am super concerned going into week 15. I CANNOT afford to have my premier player (who rarely misses any game) go into week 15 coming off a high ankle sprain...
Phat Rugby
I can wait another week since I have MBush but will need him back next week (If I survive).
Dcat
Anyone elses entire season riding on AP playing this week? Yes. I need to him to sit or suck. Dont want to see him suit up.
MrTed46
I really don't think a coach will sit a player healthy enough to play because they have nothing to play for. I really don't understand that argument, maybe it's me. If you are healthy, you suit up and play. I also agree this philosophy with Manning. If he is cleared to play, why not play him? Your fans are paying $ to see these players and you play to win the game (hello). The question is, if the doctors say he's healthy enough to play. Brentastic
Last night on NFL network they said AP was a go this weekend. I was only half paying attention but it was that fantasy show that comes on at 11PM CT - they were discussing players and they made it seem as though he was definitely playing I hope they are right. peepinmofo
Didnt he have an ankle injury last year or the year befoire, and when he came back (less than 100%), I remember him having a good game. I think like 2 TDs...

I think like 2 TDs... Looking back, it had to be last year, but the game wasnt as good as I thought. Not bad though... http://www.nfl.com/player/adrianpeterson/2...ogs?season=2010 Out week 15 last year, came back and had 118/1. I think it was a sprained ankle as well, but dont think it was a HAS. Ether way, 70% is 70%, and if he starts and plays the whole game, he will get his touches.

Azazello1313
got him in two leagues. in one, I have a bye this week, so that part of me says stay off it and get better. in the other league though it's do or die this week...with him and AJ both looking shaky. sucks. alternatives are basically hillis, spiller, boldin, burress -- gotta start two of those if mah studs ride pine. stevegrab
Interesting... Cause I havent seen any new information on him, other than he didnt practice yesterday and he said that hes 70%. Maybe it was based on this (from CBS player news) "Vikings coach Leslie Frazier told the Detroit media on Wednesday that he is optimistic that RB Adrian Peterson will return from an ankle injury in Week 14 at Detroit. Peterson has missed the last two games. However, Frazier held him out of practice Wednesday." Huddle player news seems to indicate that "AP could not practice." Big difference between not practicing (held out by coaches) and not being able to practice. If the coach is optimistic that he plays and holds him out of practice that means he is just giving him rest, avoding aggravating the injury in practice. No matter in our league, the AP owner is on bye, and has enough depth (Lynch, MBush, Tate, Matthews) to hadle it. Dude's team is stacked and he's a near lock to win the title
