The Browns have scored 175 total points on the season

It took the New Orleans Saints six games to score 177 points

It took the New England Patriots six games to score 185 points

Rob Gronkowski & BenJarvus Green-Ellis have combined to score 174 points for the Patriots. Two players have almost tied the Browns on the season.

- The Browns have scored 17 touchdowns as a team this season

That’s only 2 more touchdowns than Eagles’ running back LeSean Mccoy has scored (15)

That’s only 3 more touchdowns than Patriots’ tight end Rob Gronkowski has scored (14)

- The Browns have rushed for 3 touchdowns as a team this season

The Packers’ fullback John Kuhn has 4 rushing touchdowns this season. The Packers don’t even run the ball!

- The Browns wide receivers have combined for 8 touchdown receptions

There are nine players in the NFL who have AT LEAST 8 touchdown receptions.

Steelers’ wide receiver Mike Wallace has 8 touchdown receptions. That is the same number as the entire Cleveland receiver corps.

- The Browns have one 100 yard rusher this season (Chris Ogbonnaya against Jax)

- Peyton Hillis leads the Browns with 321 rushing yards

That number ranks 48th in the NFL.

There are 3 quarterbacks who have rushed for more (Mike Vick, Cam Newton, Tim Tebow).

There are 12 BACK UP running backs who have rushed for more yards this season.

- The Browns are the ONLY team who does not have a 100 yard receiver in a game this year

3 players on the Browns are ranked in the top 12 in the NFL in drops

You're leaving out one my favorite stats from this Browns team's pathetic season.

Through 12 games, 9 points scored in the first quarter, 3 FGs and 0TDs. Not only do they rarely (or never) score on the opening drive, they cannot get a TD. That is why most teams (even those with far from stellar defenses) will give us the ball if they win the toss.

The line for tonight that I saw was 13.5, total 39.5. I'd take the Steelers to cover and not sure I'd touch the total.

Something like 27-10, with the Browns getting a late garbage TD when the Steelers stop caring.

ETA: Ooops my bad, forget about the TD in 1Q week 12 vs Bengals, so that is 16 points in the 1Q of 12 games WOW I guess they are that good

A couple more "fun facts":

> CLE has 1124 rushing yards as a team ... MJD has 1137, L. McCoy has 1134.

> CLE needed (as a team) 316 rushing attempts to manage their 3 total TDs ... Kuhn's 4 TDs came on 16 rushing attempts.

So it it:

Colt McCoy?

Peyton Hillis and/or the lack thereof a running game?

Minimal talet at WR?

Poor O-Line play?

Of those 4 I'd say its least of all the line. Thomas (LT) and Mack © are good. Loss of Steinbach (LG) before the season started hurt. The right side of the line hasn't been good in a while.

But yeah, all aspects are pretty bad. I hope Greg Little continues to develop and overcomes his problems with the dropsies. I had hoped McCoy could continue to develop, but he appears to have regressed.

Just saying...if a young QB had no real talent at receiver and no running game to rely on....he might not look great

Everytime McCoy goes down, I don't think he's going to get back up.

Sorry for your pain. I blame Lebron.

I don't even blame LeBron for leaving Cleveland. I'm starting to believe all the talk of curses. Plenty of worse towns (sorry Detroit) have had some major league sports championship in the past 45+ years.

I'd settle for the Browns having similar success to the Cavs recently and Indians in the 90s.

and Pat Shurmur’s offense looks lost and boring. He’s a rookie coach struggling with a sad group of playmakers...and I also think he is having a hard time doing both the OC and HC jobs

Agreed not sure why so many young coaches try to do that. In fact I thought I read something abuot a GM (not sure if it was Holmgren with the Browns or somebody else) saying they would only hire a HC that was also going to be the OC, just sounds

And and GO BROWNS!!! (I don't give em much chance tonight, but I would love to see a miraculous upset of the Steelers)
