Overhyped Longhorn.

But seriously, could there be a better name for a QB from Texas? It's like he made it up. Like Badass McHowitzer or something.

 Thanks! Sorry for their year. I've seen your posts about the cheer as well as all your frustrations. I sincerely hope next year is better for you as a Rams fan!

Thanks, dude. I'm almost afraid to say this, but it really can't get much worse, can it?

I"m gonan go ahead and copy and paste this from the Ben down thread just so i know people will read it

BIG BEN I LOVE YOU YOU BIG MAN BEAST YOU JUST BROUGHT ME SIGNIFICANTLY CLOSER TO FIRST PLACE!!!!

This was a fantasy football night to remember! So i'm sitting here with my team, playing Big Ben and Mike Wallace. To my left is someone who doesn't even have a chance at the playoffs, but he has Antonio Brown. To my right? The guy I'm tied for first with (in record only, he has me beat in the head-to-head). And who is he playing? The guy to my left, who is playing Antonio Brown.

What an emotional evening for everyone!! The Steelers come out strong and I am feeling confident that I'm facing some major pointage this game. Then, the injury happens. It feels like my entire season is melting away (the records are very close, if I lose this game theres a chance im taking anywhere between 2nd and 5th) and then BIG BEN MANS UP. Then the Wallace almost touch down, then the BIG PASS TO ANTONIO BROWN. Antonio is my arch rivals opponents WR3 and his team is significantly better, this feels like it sealed the deal for the guy I'm tied for first with to lose. IM SO HAPPPY

I told the guy who is out of the playoffs if I take first and win the superbowl I'm givin him $50

edit: p.s. i also dropped the beras defense and picked up the Steelers to play them instead biggrin.gif

Cliff notes:

I got 41 points between Big Ben, Mike Wallace, and Steelers defense, and the Person I'm tied for 1st in the league with's opponent had Antonio brown as his WR3 and he got 26 points. And I was watching the game with both those people and it was freaking awesome.

I didn't understand why they let him come back, he looked clearly shaken and it looked like Wallace was playing with fire.

Seriously, Wallace was in there for maybe 2-3 plays, and completed one pass. I know McCoy may not be great, but I'm pretty sure Wallace is just a career backup.

Some other thoughts.

- never thought the game would be this close and Browns would be in it late into the 4th Qtr

- Ben is tough as nails, but considering how little he threw after the injury couldn't Batch just hand off

- Browns need to find a way to score points, just pathetic

- Browns defense is pretty good (at times), like most of the last 25 years or so, the part of the team that keeps them in games

That first drive was good, but I felt they really needed a TD there. 3rd & goal from the 1, run a QB sneak, handing off to the RB was a sure stop and loss of yards. Second, if you sneak it, you're still close and GO FOR IT ON 4TH DOWN. I mean what does the team have to lose, they're not going anywhere and need TDs to keep pace with the Steelers (I expected them to score 3-4 TDs in the game).

Oh well, would have been nice to win, but at least they were not completely embarrassed. And nobody expected it to be anywhere near this close.

I think they kept him in there so they wouldn't just blitz the crap out of Batch every play like they were, and because he is a monster and he clearly wanted to stay in. He kept the looming threat that they still needed to run some pass defense. And also the running game wasn't exactly getting it done, his passing is the only reason they scored again and got any 1st downs (since every time they had third and short they went and got themselves a 10 yard penalty)

So is McCoy.

So was that kid in Tampa a while back. What was his name? Steve Young? (No, not trying to compare McCoy to him, just saying it might be a tad early to say he'll never be a solid starter.)
