Big John
Had to start him in place of AP in one league
loaf
I drafted him in the 5th of a 12 teamer to be my RB2. Started him week 1 and one other time.
buddahj
I also cut him 5 weeks ago. I think I got one good game out of him.
piratesownninjas
5.25 YPC this year. I understand Cam Newton is the savior of Carolina, but Williams should have been seeing more touches out of the gate.

I understand Cam Newton is the savior of Carolina, but Williams should have been seeing more touches out of the gate. Yes, he should have considering he just signed a new contract. But up until today he hasn't done anything with the touches he got. He had like one other good week this year other than today so he was too unreliable to be trusted. Dumping him 5 weeks ago was the right choice. Some would say that I should have done it sooner.

Runningbacks need more than carries that look like this... It's hard to produce when you've had 20 carries a game zero times, and 15 carries once this year. 12 5 10 10 9 12 10 7 8 10 15 11 That's absurd. He'd be a monster if he got a workload. Oh, I agree with you. i was looking at it from a FF perspective. He hasn't done enough to justify taking up space on my roster. I drafted him as my 2nd RB this hoping for some big things but he hasn't got the carries he needs.
stevegrab
Uggh, coaching and Newton killed this guys value. If you were lucky enough to play him great. I think he was in my lineup a couple of weeks ago when he got 2TD, and maybe that other nice week (with the other 70+ yard TD). But I didn't feel like he could put up any decent points today so I swung for the fences and got screwed, losing my playoff game (would have won if I just left him in there). PON his YPC are heavily skewed by those two long TDs, statistical anomalies. NO doubt he needs more carries, it isn't his fault he isn't producing. i_am_the_swammi
PON his YPC are heavily skewed by those two long TDs, statistical anomalies. I hate this argument. EVERY running back's YPC are skewed by their long runs....period.
detlef
I hate this argument. EVERY running back's YPC are skewed by their long runs....period. Fair enough, but some are more than others. Like when a guy doesn't get that many carries.
