Hoge and Urlacher

I am not a Tebow lover. I am fan and a follower.

Now with that said I lost all respect for urlacher with his stupid remark about Tebow and losing to a running back. I didnt think he would ever sound like a baby after a game.

Hoge is an ass clown that was never any good in the NFl so how can he talk trash.

Tebow has more followers now than the catholic church. I was at a sports bar in philly on sunday and everyone in there was cheering for Tebow.

It's time to just accept it

This needs some snark...

- Ya know, when I reloaded the forum just now, what I was hoping for MOST was another Tebow thread.

- Except it what?

- If Hoge was no good in the NFL and it disallows him to criticize Tebow, are you allowed to criticize Hoge if you've never even BEEN in the NFL?

- But really, except it what?

I do not understand what # of supporters has to do with his prospects as an NFL QB.

So if I bring up the point that Vick is now the most hated NFL QB, does that change what he did in 2010?

So does Satan, does that mean he is better?

Wow, so you're gauging it by people in a sports bar, cool. Because they're the most intelligent group in the world. I was at the Vatican once and they were all cheering for the Pope. He's the greatest of all time.

PS The word you're looking for is than (see underlined above).

the thing that pisses me off the most about Tebow is supporters saying that folk hate him because he is a Christian.

eta. I realize that this is not what this cat is saying, but oddly its the very thing that make me not like him.

Can I nominate this for the most consistently atrocious use of the English language in a thread this season? I realize this is a FFL site but for the love of God...

Urlacher is just frustrated that the twilight of his career has been torpedoed by Lovie Smith, Mike Martz, Jerry Angelo, and any member of the McCaskey family you'd care to mention.

Hoge has had a tough life health-wise. You'd think it would give him some compassion and understanding towards his fellow man - Tebow included. I guess not.

I hate him because he is a Gator and a Pedo.

I'm disappointed in Urlacher's comments after the game. He did sound like a big baby. How do you expect players to react after they've just been Tebow'd by their own coaching staff and the undeniable attitude he has brought to that team.

A "no comment" would have been better, Didn't see the Hoge remarks, but I imagine he's tired of all the press the QB is getting when the entire team is rising to the occasion to do incredible things.

I think that is how many of us feel. We keep hearing "All he does is win" Well yeah, after the defense keeps it close all game while he cannot score and when the other team totally implodes. That doesn't make him a great or even good QB. But the Tebowners drain blood away from the brain, causing the people who support him (not all) to have trouble thinking clearly.

QBs always get too much credit when teams are successful, and too much blame when the team isn't. This is no exception.

But the story is exceptional. DEN was the second worst team in the NFL last year and started this year right where they left off last year at 1-4. Then they suddenly "got it" and have gone 7-1 since that time. Coincidentally, the dividing point between that 1-4 start and the 7-1 turnaround is Tebow getting the starting QB assignment amid much controversy and many experts stating publicly that Tebow can't possibly succeed as a NFL QB. That in some people's minds is compelling, and that it is attached to a kid who has a reputation for being a lightning rod. The attention is understandable, if way overblown. That it is so overblown is a good reason for some to be entirely sick of it.
