Jordy Nelson

There were a slew of Jordy threads a little while back, many of which talked about his role in the GB offense, how he's able to take advantage of less coverage and that was essentially his meal ticket. What does everyone think will happen with him being the potential number 1 option? Does his value go up or down?

Incorrect. The more they throw it to him the more he will drop it.

more targets mean more yards, more catches, and possibly more TD's. Good players make their plays.

JOrdy being #1 only helps his stock. Teams cannot afford to give 1 guy all the attention every snap. Rogers exposes it, and it just doesn't work. Driver has been playing great, they still have to pay attention to Finley and Jones.

Jordy's numbers should be only get better with more targets. He one of the least targeted WR's in the league and he has 10 td's.

Just as long as they get him off of coverage teams. Right now they have to limit his exposure to injury. While they can afford to be without Jennings temporarily due to Jones and Cobb being wonderful fill ins, they cannot afford to be down both Jennings and Nelson.

When players play not to get hurt that often turns into an injury. Have to play every snap. The only way football is played.

GB is going for perfection this year, and why wouldn't they?

Jordy's production in part is to never seeing double coverage or going against the no.1 corner from the other team. That changes Sunday in KC. This week he gets a legit corner, and for the first time in his career, he will be viewed as the play maker to try and stop. To discount the attention that Greg Jennings every week from the other team is crazy.
