worst manager move ever

Excuse me, that should read "didn't want to chance negative points" in the subject.

We had our first round playoffs in a longstanding Yahoo (yeah I know) league I play in. #4 and #5 seeds played. After Sunday night, the #4 seed was up by a fraction of a point. #5 team had no players left, #4 team had Seattle D going on Monday night. They sat Seattle D "just in case" of negative points (y'know, just in case the Rams were to go off and run up the score and Seattle D gets negative for allowing +30 points or something like that).

Yahoo comes and adjusts stats at 1:00 AM this morning, and negates Victor Cruz 1 catch and 9 yards. Nicks actually caught that pass, so they corrected the error (a full day later).

Thus, come this morning, #4 team loses by .45 points since he had Cruz in his starting lineup.

Gotta love Yahoo's timeliness.

P.S. Seed #4 was a real Brooklyn Decker smack talker all season and won pretty much every week by virtue of having Brady and Gronk combo.

Guy's been silent and may have jumped off a cliff today. Karma, it's a bitch.

good luck to all huddlers if you're still in it to win it.

This wasn't just yahoo, a few sites had contradicting stats for Nicks and Cruz.

This wasn't an unexpected change either. I saw it talked about in multiple places (including here I believe) on Monday.

Damn right! Clearly the team acted on bad/false information when he benched Seattle. Had he known that Cruz's score would be adjusted he would NOT have benched Seattle.

What a moran ... prevent defense just prevents you from winning.

That's right. It is exactly the same situation as the last time, so that was exactly what I thought of. I just knew you'd appreciate it and had to give you a shout out on it.
