Cowboyz1
Babin = 18 sacks Ware = 16 sacks Whaaaaat? Yeah surprising but the linebackers are NOT what they used to be and without Dawkins in the secondary they aren't the same at all. We'll see but Philly can be had down the seam. We'll see but Philly can be had down the seam. This is true...though in the last month or so, that trend has gone away as these younger linebackers have learned and improved. More often than not, the quarterback is on his back before the seam route has had time to develop. The safety spot is still average at best, and will need to be addressed this offseason. The corners have looked very good now that they have the zone scheme under their belts (this is where missing training camp really hurt Nnamdi, since he was always a man-cover CB). I am looking forward to one of the better sets of WRs testing this much improved secondary. Now, teams can still run on them for sure....at least early in games. Murray was on tap for a nice last time they played before the game got away from Ryan. Not sure that will be the case this week, though Jones is not the back Murray is, and won't see as many potential carries. And TE's can still make plays inside this scheme, so I expect one of Witten's better days.
HowboutthemCowboys
I would have guessed it would have come out Dallas -5'ish.....IMO, for some reason, they are begging bettors to take the Cowboys..... did you watch the game the last time they played ? i_am_the_swammi
Interesting dilemma for the Cowboys today in the Jets-Giants game. They can root for the Giants to win, which would eliminate the Eagles before the game even started. It would also render the Eagles/Cowboys games completely meaningless, as the division wouldn't then be decided until they meet up with the Giants next weekend. The Cowboys might even be smart to rest some of their players today (Jones, for example, as well as Romo) to ensure they are in the best position possible to win a winner-take-all game next week. However, if the Jets win, Dallas can clinch the division with a win over the Eagles, giving them a week to rest up for the playoffs. But that Jets win would also make the game meaningful for the Eagles, as an Eagles win this week and next, coupled with a Giants win next week, hands the Eagles the division. So what say ye? Are Dallas fans rooting for the Jets to win this week so they can potentially clinch the division later today? Or are they more hoping for a Giants victory so the game is meaningless, Eagles are gone before the game even starts, and roll the dice in NY next week? I go with this option ... Rob can help Rex help Rob. Then we can get Andy Reid fired This is a biggy and impossible to predict. Vegas has it at Dallas -1. It is anyone's game.
