Cowboyz1
I was just wondering, did the New CBA have something to do with all the games played on Saturday and not on Christmas Sunday this year. It's nice the players get to be home with their families on Christmas day so that's great. Last year Christmas was on Saturday and all the games were on Sunday. So did the New CBA have anything to do with the change. I recall games all day on Christmas day.
Big John
No change. Policy was no evening game on Christmas eve through daytime on Christmas day. Then an evening game was allowed on the evening of Christmas day.

stevegrab
Pretty sure its been like this the last 2-3 times that Christmas was on Sunday, maybe more. I was talking to my brother in LA the other day and he mentioned maybe going to a friends Christmas evening to watch the game. I mentioned that regular Sunday daytime games (Fox & CBS) were on Saturday Christmas Eve and he hadn't even realized that (works a lot of weeks, busy with family etc). I look forward to spending Christmas eve watching NFL, then regular Christmas day festivities and back home to watch the night game. (Almost forgot there's still an MNF game, confused that with week 17, when we only have Sunday day games then SNF.)

And if Chicago-ish is your location how far you traveling to GB? Hope the weather is good, and you enjoy the game.
