Mr. Retail
I went against him in one of my two finals. Probably would have won anyway but I will take it as is
SecondString
Well yeah, I was playing against him, but I had it pretty much sewn up after the early games. Final: 114 - 69 Santa came early

Winks
My opponent also. He had Vick. Fortunately, we do Team QB so I got 15 points from McKee. I am 26 ahead with Nelson left for me and Johes, Gonzo and Bryant left for him. Will Santa be good to me - I haven't been that naughty. nelsosi
I started Romo in 1 of my 3 finals. With games still remaining, it's looking like its gonna be the difference -- even an average performance likely would have won me the matchup. Very tough beat. historymike
I mentioned this on another thread, but I almost switched out Romo for Brady in one league at the last minute given New England's recent struggles with the Fins. That would have been the mistake of the decade - as it stands it looks like Brady's points will have been the difference between a title and becoming the league laughingstock for over-managing. My condolences to anyone screwed by the injury to Romo; I remember Hasselbeck screwed my team over one year (I think 2005) by becoming a last minute scratch in Week 17. Nothing on the injury reports, nothing in the pregame warmups, just BAM! Trent Dilfer at the helm, and I lost the title by a handful of points to a team that went 6-8 in the regular season. Worst loss ever for me.

aruss
My opponent started Romo. I don't think he got lucky, because it was a total blowout. Right now 98-45. I have 3 left, he has 2 left to play. BUT I don't mind a win this way because I offered to hedge our bets and change the stakes from 400/150 to 300/250. He said, "Yeah Right, I like my chances." Oh yeah!

Rebellab
Put me in this class. I will take the win, but it would have been interesting as we are 5 points apart for the year and have the same record. It would have been close as I have brees left to go and I am 2 points behind him. Now as long as this doesn't happen to Brees.
historymike
The game turns out to have been December 26, 2004, and the matchup was Arizona Cardinals at Seattle Seahawks. Adding insult to injury, I benched a dinged-up Willis McGahee (who posted two rush TDs and 102 yards) in favor of Sammy Morris (a whopping 74 total yards and no TDs) because the pregame announcers expressed doubt McGahee would even play. Those two moves must have cost me 35 standard scoring points alone, and I lost by two points. Two farking points. And lo, seven years later, that loss still stings. We both finished 10-4, he finished with about 3 percent more points than I did (first and third overall). He beat me earlier. Would've been a pretty close final if Romo just got about his average points.

Do Work Son
With no backup and no one worth picking up for the 4:00 games, I decided to snag Matt Moore right before 1:00 kickoff and plugged him in for Romo. I look really smart right now
