Gopher
Well, one FF-related wish, anyway. I haven't been all that nice this year, but I haven't exactly been terribly naughty, either, so here goes.... I'm in two championships this year, and the player that both teams share in common is Kahlil Bell. The other thing that both have in common is that they've been somewhat plagued by RB injuries, which is why I'm starting Bell in the first place. Please, please, please help Mr. Bell find his way to the end zone. In one league (which is a league with my wife's family), I'm facing my sister-in-law in the final. I've had the best team all season, and need to pull this off for bragging rights, not to mention some $$ that's on the line. I've lost Fred Jackson, Matt Forte, and DeMarco Murray in this league... And my other starting RB (McCoy) didn't exactly light up the box score yesterday. I'm down by 15, and it's a half-point PPR league. I figure Bell is good for about 80 total yards, and a few catches, so I probably need him to score to pull this off. The second league in which I'm playing for the title is a long-time "local" league that I joined while living in Sioux Falls, SD, back in 1997. I've won two championships in this league, thanks to Daunte Culpepper and LaDainian Tomlinson, but it's been about a decade since I sniffed a title in this league. I've lost RB's in this league as well... McFadden, Ingram, Murray, and Peyton Hillis seems to have been "lost" all season. I'm down by roughly 33 (no PPR in this one), but I've got Roddy White, Pierre Thomas, and Bell left to play. If I estimate that each guy is good for roughly 80 total yards, on average, I still probably need at least two of the three to score. I think I've got a pretty good shot of White or Thomas scoring, so once again, Bell getting in the end zone is critical. There is quite a bit of cash on the line in this league, but like I said, it's been a while since I was in this position... I mainly just really want to win it again. I'm also in four 3rd place matchups this weekend, but would gladly lose all four to win the above leagues. Heck, I'd probably give up all four to win EITHER title, just for the bragging rights alone. On a serious note, other than needing the above, there's really nothing I'm wishing for this year. My daughter is now 15 months old, and she is literally the light of my life. Nothing else really matters when I come home each evening to see her smile and come running to the door. My wife and I decided to skip buying each other presents this year. Instead, we'll use some $$ to spend on our daughter, while visiting family in MN and CA. More than likely, we'll revisit the Mall of America (I used to live in the Twin Cities, but have been inside only once in the last 7-10 years), and the San Diego Zoo. So, who else needs a little help from Santa tonight/tomorrow? Edited December 25, 2011 by Gopher

Woodside Warriors
I need 100 pts between Brees, Turner, and Jermichael. EDIT - 95 points - I think I can do this. Dear Lord, Please have..... Drew repeat (+ a td) last week. Also, have Mr. Finley blow up against the Bears as he did earlier in the season(3td's). And give Michael a pain injection to his groin(ouch) so he can run like Michael Turner The Burner he once was. Amen. Dear Santa, Hakeem Nicks, Steve Smith, Cedric Benson, and the Redskins Defense were very naughty on Christmas Eve. Since I'm late for my list, I would like you to Fed Ex them some coal and Reindeer Poop. No Quarter
I need Ryan to hang with Brees if not outscore him, and Turner to stay out of the endzone.
historymike
Dear Santa: I second the wish for Kahlil Bell to have a strong game. Not for me, of course, but for this overlooked young RB who has a chance to make a name for himself and get a better contract. <pause> OK, this wish is totally for one of my gritty teams that has been beset by injury in 2011 and yet has managed to claw its way to the championship. <pause> OK, I admit it: this is all about me. Bragging rights, a title, and cash. I cannot lie to a man who sees me when I am sleeping, right? Anyway, there are ancillary benefits to others, so this is not completely selfish. Heck, the prize money isn't even the major motivator - you can keep it and give it to orphans or something. Sincerely, An owner who started KJahlil Bell in the championship
whomper
I need 4 tds and 100 yards from Finley and I need Gonzo to oversleep and miss the game Monday
justin
41 points from Finley, Sproles and Moore (Meecham as a back-up). My league gives bonuses for long TDs and +100 yards, so hopefully these guys can come up with some big plays.
hezagenius
I neeed Rodgers to be pissed off enough to have a career game. I do not need that. I need Bell to score as much as Rodgers to preserve my lead. 4-5 FGs from Gould would be a nice cushion. kevinkris
I need brees and bell to have bad days! PLaying against both of them in two championships
detlef
I don't need much. My team has actually already gone off and scored what would typically be more than enough to win. But I've got a 32.5 lead facing Rodgers in a league that pays 6 pts for TDs. Thing is, I still have Ryan and Jones going on Monday. So, unless Rodgers goes wild and Ryan gets totally shut down, I should be good.
Wiseman155
I need Jimmy Graham and John Kasay to score 15 points over what K. Bell does tonight (Std. Scoring) Please show some generosity and give me this one wish. What do you think? Will there be a Christmas miracle?

Gopher
Effing hell! OK Ryan, you're up. Yeah, Rodgers' 5 TD's will erase a 30+ point lead in a hurry. You still should be OK, though. I needed 15.1 from Bell to win one of my leagues. Got 131 total yards and 3 catches from him in the first half alone, for 14.6 points. So, basically, I need five yards from him in the second half. In the third quarter, he got a whopping 2 yards. Now, he's gotten a few more, and I've got a slim lead of 1.32 points. But, we get -2 for lost fumbles, so I'm probably going to be sweating this to the last snap. Bell has already fumbled twice, and was very fortunate that both were recovered by his teammates... McCown bailed him out on one, and his OL recovered the other for a TD.
HowboutthemCowboys
Effing hell! OK Ryan, you're up. Does Ryan play the whole game tomorrow? The Falcons can't improve their seed unless they beat Saints and Saints lose to Carolina I believe
buddahj
In one league, I need M. Ryan to make up a 21.3pt deficit & then outscore J. Graham. In another with 3rd place $$$ on the line...I need M. Ryan, J. Graham & J. Kasay to score 26pts combined. :fingerscrossed:
Big John
I neeed Rodgers to be pissed off enough to have a career game. Now for a 2nd and a 3rd: Sproles to outscore Roddy White by 4, and Colston to outscore Abraham by 9.
Gopher
Can't complain... Bell didn't quite get in the EZ, but he did rack up 17 points (needed 15 to win). In my other league, he got me 15, which means I need about 18 from Roddy and Pierre combined. Not bad for a guy that I picked up yesterday, in both leagues. Wiseman155
I now need 33 points between Jimmy Graham and John Kasay. detlef
Does Ryan play the whole game tomorrow? The Falcons can't improve their seed unless they beat Saints and Saints lose to Carolina I believe Well, strangers things have happened. Carolina is playing well of late, so I would think ATL is thinking along the lines of still having a shot at the division. At least I hope so. Regardless, I need 11 pts between Ryan and Jones. 1 TD pass from Ryan to Jones and I'm there. The bad news is that WRs only get 1 pt for 20 yards (5pt bonus at 100 yds), so there's that. It's pretty crazy, actually because I don't think the guy I'm playing has broken 170 all season long (scored 174.69 this week). Should I manage to win, I will do so despite facing Stafford and Rodgers in a 2 QB league.
