snoop2
They put in bongo music when he started doing his dance!!!! That was awful!!!!! Football is slowly no longer becoming football. No defense, no running games, and now stupid music during a touchdown dance? Only entertainment, is all that matter to these guys. That was just sad. snoop2
Stadium music or TV? I wasn't paying attention. It was NBC. Fan of neither team. though I really really don't like Nicks....Cost me 950 bucks.
Footballjoe
I heard it and did not mind it at all. I think the Giants Stadim people did it since that is Victor's Regular Touchdown dance.
CaptainHook
NBC did an interview with Cruz on Football Night on NBC. He talked about salsa music. NBC clearly played it to go along with his TD dance.
Rovers
There is a story, embraced by NBC about Cruz's salsa dance.... it is in honor on his grand mama. It's a human interest story, Crux grew up in Patterson NJ. It's a lovely little town.

Only entertainment, I'd like to say "congrats you're the last to know" but sadly I doubt it.
detlef
I thought it was great. 1) I think the "act like you've been there before" schtick is tired and is played by those who seem to forget that football is a freaking game played to entertain others. Seriously, relax. If you want to watch serious TV, I'm sure there's a documentary on somewhere. 2) At least it's not "in your face", confrontational, or insulting. It's just some dude celebrating. And it sounded like it was being played on the stadium speakers, not the TV.

CowboyGal2011
It was def the NBC broadcast who did it, I was surprised they had it que'd up. Figured there must be a story behind it. With ginger sphincters like santonio holmes in the league, his story is awesome. Small school guy, not figured to make the team, injured in first year, 2nd year sets the Giants all time receiving yards record. Awesome.
