Brentastic Posted January 2, 2012 Share Posted January 2, 2012 (edited) I lost Just came in 2nd in my big money league. This league rewards overall points and runs through week 17. My problem is I have 4 stud WRs and it played a factor the last two weeks particularly. Had I started Cruz last week instead of A.J. Green, I would have won. And then this week I still could have won had I started Larry FItz over Green Every week I had to choose 3 of the following 4: Calvin, Cruz, Fitz, Green and most weeks it always worked out for me but it really bit me in the ass the final 2 weeks. I also picked up Flynn today but started Stafford - can't say I'd do anything differently but that difference would have won it for me too. This is the 2nd time in 5 seasons where I've missed 1st place by 10 or less points. 2nd place still pays out 2.5X my buy-in amount AND I won 3 high weeks to boot ($20 per week). In all a successful season but still frustrating that I just missed being Champ. Who else won or lost today? Thanks to the Huddle for providing top-notch analysis as usual I definitely have to give them props for aiding in my perenial successes. Last week I lost the championship in my keeper league(I'm sure you can see why by the players in my sig) Yesterday I won the Championship in a redraft league qb- Stafford wr- Fitzgerald rb- Spiller w/r- Maclin w/r- Tate te- Cook k- Bironas def- Steelers I would like to thank all the members of The Huddle staff for the help AND I would also like to thank the regulars in the forums for their input/insight each week!
