Brentastic
Do any commishes out there have experience setting up a playoff league through MFL? I'm having a hell of a time getting this to be user friendly. Here are the main issues I'm dealing with. The only way to select your players is through the "Waivers" option at the bottom of the home page. I'd prefer to be able to look at the "top players" page to see stats and sort by stats but apparently I cannot do this. Annoying but we can live with it. However, in selecting via the "Waivers" option you must select your entire roster at once or else it errors out. In other words, if you're undecided about your RBs for instance, too bad - you are forced to pickup all 8 RBs with the rest of your team instead of picking them up later in the week. This is very frustrating and I know I've been in other playoff leagues via MFL where selecting rosters had more options and more freedom. The other problem with this is if you want to change one of your players, you have to drop everyone and start over??? If anyone can help me get this going please do so. We can even move to PM or talk on the phone. FWIW, this is a total points playoff league where every player is available to all owners. We select 32 players all of whom are "starters" through the entire playoffs. Rosters are (4 QB, 8 RB, 8 WR, 4 TE, 4 PK, 4 DEF). BillyBalata
Under Roster Position Limits Setup, do you have limits for each position set there? Not sure if that's your solution but would be the first place i would look. Edited January 2, 2012 by BillyBalata

Let me ask you this: Are you usually able to view/select player from a page that allows you to sort by stats? Also, is it normal to have to select your entire roster at once or else it will "error" out?

Yea, every league i can view at mfl you can add a free agent player by using the add button next to their stats. I've looked all over, I'm not seeing a setting that would change that anywhere. as far as the partial roster issue, i don't know if setting it to a specific minimum of 1 and max of 32 would all of the sudden allow it to work. Only other thing i can see is the box to check to allow partial starting lineups. If all your players are starters, maybe that setting is messing with things. otherwise, email mfl, you'll probably have an answer by morning. datatom
You can use the Load /Unload Roster option to filter and add players using the commissioner logon.

Right, I see that but I don't want that responsibility. I want each owner to load and submit their own rosters since all players are available to everyone. I thought about setting the minimu lower as well but I want to be able to make this dummy proof as far as selecting the exact roster requirements. I appreciate the help. I'll probably email MFL. Thanks. P.S. as far as not being able to select from the free agent page with stats, that option only let's me start from week 18, in other words, regular season stats are not even viewable. I can search back to previous years but still only see week 18-21 Edited January 3, 2012 by Brentastic
