With the final standings cemented, it is now confirmed who will play who next season (just not the dates).

For the Eagles:

HOME: Dallas, New York, Washington, Atlanta, Carolina, Baltimore, Cincinnati and Detroit

AWAY: Dallas, New York, Washington, New Orleans, Tampa, Cleveland, Pittsburgh and Arizona.

Very tough schedule on paper, but fortunately most of toughest games are at home (save for visits to NO and PIT). Outside their division, all their home games are against playoff teams except Carolina (which with Newton alone and their improved play at the end of year makes it an interesting game).

While the schedule will create some quirks, I see 6-2 at home (losses to Baltimore and Detroit), and 4-4 on the road (losses to DAL, NYG, NO & PIT).

10-6 with upside after an improving and gelling final month of 2011?

Home: Falcons, Panthers, Tampa Bay, Philadelphia, Redskins, 49ers, Chiefs, Chargers.

Away: Falcons, Panthers, Tampa Bay, Cowboys, Giants, Packers, Broncos, Raiders.

Nice 4-win pad with the AFC West on your schedule....add on Panthers 2x, Tampa 2x, and the Redskins in games you'll likely win.....if you split the rest, you are 12-4.

Atlanta likely in the very same boat, which will make fighting for the Wildcard tough in the NFC.

Bears schedule:

HOME AWAYSeattle Seahawks Arizona CardinalsSt. Louis Rams San Francisco 49ersHouston Texans Jacksonville JaguarsIndianapolis Colts Tennessee TitansCarolina Panthers Dallas Cowboys Detroit Lions Detroit LionsGreen Bay Packers Green Bay PackersMinnesota Vikings Minnesota Vikings

Can't complain. This has potential for 10-6 at least.

But the caveat to that is that the NFC South just continues to get tougher and tougher. The Bucs could even be just a few changes from being right back at 10 wins, and of course Carolina is only going to get better with more pieces around Cam. I do not consider the Falcons schedule that easy:

Home: Dallas, New York Giants, Arizona, Denver, Oakland, Tampa Bay, New Orleans, Carolina

Away: Philadelphia, Washington, Detroit, Kansas City, San Diego, Tampa Bay, New Orleans and Carolina

The road schedule doesn't look so bad right now, but I expect every single one of those teams to improve greatly from this season (except the Saints who obviously don't need to improve much)

Home—Bears, Lions, Vikings, Cardinals, 49ers, Saints, Jaguars, Titans.

Away—Bears, Lions, Vikings, Rams, Seahawks, Giants, Texans, Colts.

Looks like the NFC North got the easy divisions again

Good Lord, they may challenge to go undefeated again with that schedule. They should be favored in every game, except maybe the Lions depending on when the game is.

With the NFC South and NFC North both getting relatively easy draws (AFC and NFC West, respectively), it may very well take 11 wins to earn a wild-card.

Jets:

Home: Miami Dolphins, New England Patriots, Buffalo Bills, Houston Texans, Indianapolis Colts, San Diego Chargers, Seattle Seahawks, St. Louis Rams.

Away: Miami Dolphins, New England Patriots, Buffalo Bills, Jacksonville Jaguars, Tennessee Titans, Pittsburgh Steelers, Arizona Cardinals, San Francisco 49ers.

I could see a 10-6 season even with our offensive offense. Winnable games bolded.

Texans:

Home: Indianapolis, Jacksonville, Tennessee, Buffalo, Miami, Baltimore, Green Bay, Minnesota.

Away: Indianapolis, Jacksonville, Tennessee, New England, New York Jets, Denver, Chicago, Detroit.

Brutal. The Texans will have to sweep the division to make the playoffs again.

I think the Chargers game at home is winnable...west coast team heading east is never a good bet for a win, and the Chargers are beatable anyway.

However, winning all the other winnable games will be the tricky part

 6-2 at home (losses to BAL & GB), 4-4 on the road (losses to TEN, NE, NYJ & DET). 10-6 could get it done in the AFC South, and I think that's worst-case  Get back Schaub and Williams, and they might even go 7-1 at home if they can handle the Ravens, and 6-2 on the road if they do indeed sweep the division and can beat the Jets.

I was thinking the same thing. It does look nice on paper, but DoG is right, Panthers are only getting better and Falcons won't get any worse. Imagining we'll sweep either of them again next year is really pushing it. Absolutely sick that we have to play Green Bay in Lambeau again. Philly & 49ers will be tough next season, even at home. A lot of Saints fans are already calling Saints/49ers in the season opener at home.

I look at that and say who can we beat? Maybe the Vikings, possibly the Redskins? Unless something amazing happens in the offseason, I see another 12 or 14 loss season.

I think Josh McDaniels can make that an 8 win season.

Man, I hope that reply was dripping with sarcasm, because McD was HORRIBLE this year at play calling, and Bradford is clearly not well-suited to his offense. The decisions he made this year were so bad strategically so often, I'm not sure how anyone has confidence in his ability to win here.
