Lloyd Dobler
I am totally shocked by this. I thought Norv would be the first to go!

Savage Beatings
They MUST have some dirt on Dean Spanos that he doesn't want leaked out. How else can this be explained?
rebdog
it is what it is. God knows who they would have brought in as replacements for him and AJ. i still think AJ is a good GM. and maybe Norv will go the way of Cowher; just give him long enough and he'll eventually get it done. CowboyGal2011
They're good at packing, someone has to do the dirty work when they load up for LA.

Whiskey Pimp
I don't get the big deal, they tied for the division lead so maybe next year they get over the hump.
tazinib1
So abandoning tham as you promised. And going brack to your Rams? It's going to be hard for me to root for the Chargers as long as those 2 are at the helm. I might just have to dig out my old Rams helmet in 2012. Chargerz
Here we go again. Norv does not have what it takes to be a Super Bowl winning head coach in the NFL. A.J. has made some bonehead picks in the draft. It's almost a given that we'll have another year of mediocrity in 2012. I hate that they're staying, and ALOT of Charger fans share my sentiment. Look for 4-5 blackouts next season as Charger fans react to this decision by not buying tickets to home games.

I was going to suggest that some of us SD Huddlers get together for a Charger home game in 2012. Not so sure now if I can stomach giving my money to Spanos. That is why the Bears finally threw Dave Wannstedt out a while back.
boltnlava
I'm telling you now. This makes it easier for them to move to LA. Moving from an angry fan base is much better than a happy one. Why in the hell would Dean do this with the most important voting date in Chargers history approaching? You think the public wants to pay for a new stadium more or less after this stunt? It proves they think it's over in San Diego and Norv's just holding court until the big moving day.

And a great point...one I'm jealous I didn't think of. Edited January 3, 2012 by tazinib1
Riffraff
Not happy. I guess the Spanos family isn't ready to take over the front office jobs permanently just yet (I can only imagine the Bengals' scenario when a family runs the business instead of football people).
