After 2007, I think most Giants fans feel more confident in Coughlin and Eli in these situations. The Giants had an up and down year, and certainly was down mid year when they lost 4 in a row. However I am starting to think the quality of teams they have played this year has really served them well. from week 8 on : Pats. SF, Phili, NO, GB, Dal, Was, Jets, Dal. They went 4-5 here ending on the 3-0 run. Washington is the clear outlier, and they certainly layed an egg there. Dal, Phili and Jet games may not be of the same caliber as the others but divisional games and intracity game has their own challenges. The combination of getting healthy and playing against high level opponents allowed them the opportunity to bring it all together. Im not sure if they had the weak part of their schedule at the end that they wouldve been ready for this fantastic run. SF game was epic. Great defenses and SF came ready to play.
