piratesownninjas
Eagles GM Howie Roseman was noncommittal when asked about the future of DT Cullen Jenkins in Roseman's year-ending press conference. Beat writer Les Bowen believes the Eagles would be foolish to let Jenkins go after he played hard all season on a struggling team, but it's not out of the question that Philly viewed Jenkins as a one-year rental all along. Cutting Jenkins in year two of his supposed $30 million contract would immediately save $7.75 million under the cap. He's due a $5M roster bonus on March 13. I hope that Jenkins is cut, and Ted Thompson can correct his mistake last off season... Can any Philly homers give us some insight on this>? Bronco Billy
No signing bonus on his contract. Wow. I can't remember the last time I saw that without the contract being at or near the minimum.
bpwallace49
He shoulda been resigned and Hawk let go last year . .. . ahh the power of hindsight
Zooty
Eagles front office M.O. is usually pretty non-committal about everything. They left the same impression when asked about DJax yesterday. Personally I think he will be back and if he isn't it will be a huge hole in DL to fill (despite what some people here think about street free agent Derek Landri)
i_am_the_swammi
Jenkins re-worked his contract with the Eagles today, and will be with the team thru 2015. Stated he wants to retire an Eagle. Good move by the Birds! Jenkins deal
