Ice1
Just thought I would post that I read Curtis Lofton may lose his 3 down status next season. I am not surprised by the news as he did struggle in nickle packages but the source is Rotoworld and their third party information accuracy is enough to be somewhat skeptical. In the event you get offers for this player more due diligence is likely needed to assess real value. Two down MLB's are all but useless IMO. I do expect the Falcons to resign him so this could be market misinformation but for the serious IDP player this is a situation worth keeping an eye on. darin3
Sean Weatherspoon only scored about 3ppg less than Lofton last season, and will probably be the better value again next season. And FYI, that news tidbit was from Len Pasquarelli, so I'd put some stock in it. Lofton's a free agent next month but the team will likely re-sign him. I also put some stock in it which is why I posted the news. Just saying, lots of misinformation is normal on contract type players and there didn't seem to be a direct quote. Pasquarelli is better than most.
keggerz
With the acquisition of Tatupu, Lofton most likely won't be playing a single down for the Falcons this year...won't be surprised to see him land in Tampa
