just want to say its been a LOOOOONG last 5 years but the gophers finally have the mcnaughton cup again (WCHA champs). as a minnesota alum, my sports thrills have been fading lately so its good to have the success back on the ice to make the grid iron and bball court sting a little less. here's to hoping another banner goes up in mariucci after this season.

that loss stung on multilpe levels in 2006 (i think)....lost as the 1 to the 4, lost at Inglestad Arena, I lived in ND at the time.
this year beating ND to make the frozen 4....couldnt be sweeter. ski u mah!!
