polksalet
I think this is a great move. Tebow is close to being as good a passer as Sanchez if not better. Plus he can run around.
flemingd
He was being sarcastic. If you mean BB, I got that part, I was expressing my amazement however that some people weren't. If you mean the person quoted, I'm not so sure, that was not at all the context of the story. Edited March 21, 2012 by flemingd

Big John
And we thought Rovers was in a pissy mood YESTERDAY. Wait until he hears that the Jets traded a 4th and 6th for Tebow and a 7th . . . He hates Sanchez, so this may be good news to him hoping Tebow can take over.

stevegrab
And there is your silver lining! Let the Coors Light celebration begin! As long as he doesn't confront somebody again over them saying something he thought he saw/heard. That was some wild stuff, good time for me to take my first dip in the tailgate. Azazello1313
how long does it take the jets to figure out tebow is the best QB on the team?
bpwallace49
how long does it take the jets to figure out tebow is the best QB on the team? They would have to cut Drew Stanton for that to be the case. Probably Greg McElroy too . . .
sundaynfl
Don't know who they will play for their first home game, but it should be prime time viewing, Especially, after a couple of Sanchez interceptions!
Bronco Billy
From way out in left field: Tebow eventually displaces Sanchez, Jets go on to win the wild card. They visit DEN, who wins the AFC West, in the first round. Manning goes 1 and done like he has 7 times already as Tebow scores on a QB sneak with 11 seconds left in the game. My gawd, DEN would be declared a national disaster area after the fallout of the exploding heads here
wiegie
This offseason has to be one of the best ever. Alas, the crappy new board has killed these forums so we can't enjoy the craziness in its full glory.

Savage Beatings
Holy freaking Odd Couple! On March 21, Tim Tebow was asked to remove himself from his place of employment. That request came from his GM. Deep down, he knew he was right, but he also knew that someday, he would return to them. With nowhere else to go, he appeared at the stadium of a desparate Head Coach, Rex Ryan. Sometime earlier, Ryan's fans had begged to have him thrown out, requesting that he never return. Can two unwanted NFL stars share a franchise without driving each other crazy?

montster
What's the hangup? Possible clause in Tebow's contract that would result in the Jets' having to pay the Broncos up to $5 million, which the Jets could object to.
wiegie
Rams may get him What I've heard is that the Rams will get him for a 3rd rounder and then will immediately trade him to Washington for a second-round pick this year and a 4th round pick next year and the year after that. flemingd
New info about the money: In Tebow's contract is a $6.2 million salary advance, of which $1.2 million already has been paid by Denver, sources told Schefter. The difference of $5 million is still advanced against his future salary, and that burden would shift to the Jets in a trade. The Jets, sources said, believe the Broncos should owe Tebow that money. http://espn.go.com/new-york/nfl/story/_/id/7718133/tim-tebow-trade-hits-snag-contract-language-source-says
