Texas went up 3-0, and I hoped Sea would get a run in the 8th, so I didnt miss out on another save opp like I did in Washington today. Now Nathan gives up 3 more runs in the 9th, and he cost me a save, and maybe Texas a win.  Be careful what you wish for, it certainly didnt work out for me tonight.

One more thing, Bum Im still going to kick your ass this week.  So get ready.... :brow:

I know it's early, but I've had an uncanny ability in picking the bust of the year in the first round every year I have drafted in this league.  Bautista looks lost at the plate when I've watched my free MLB preview and hasn't  managed to get on base through the first 3 games of this particular week.  Guess I can't complain too loudly yet, as almost every other offensive player is outperforming his pick position.

I have an early lead on Chief Dick, but every single offensive category could flip flop in a couple at bats.  Wish I was playing some of you sorry ass teams battling the Mendoza line with a HR or two and a few RBIs this week. :brow:

That would include me.  :bag:

Other than Zach Cozart, my batters have yet to really get going.  Gotta give things a few weeks before diving in and making changes that'll later be regretted.

This week me and Skrappers are locked in a really tight battle that could be a bloodbath either way but is most likely to end very close, methinks.

Our whole matchup flip-flopped yesterday. I think you were leading 8-2 when I woke up, I got it to something like 5-5 or 4-6 before I went to bed, and I woke up today to 8-2 again. Crazy game this is.

This maybe the worst combined matchup in terms of stats of any two teams in this leagues history, and I am on the bitch slap side of it.

Anyone know why there are so many afternoon games this Friday?  NYY vs LAA is the first in a three game series, for example, and it starts at 1:05 Eastern.  Surely Fridays are virtually all evening starts usually, aren't they?  No team has to travel after it's game today so why make it harder for fans to attend the game?

Opening day at home for all the teams that started on the road.

It might be because it is opening day for home teams that played all of their games on the road.

Ah.  Still stupid, IMO.

The Twins had their home opener on Monday at midday, then an off day Tuesday, then the last two of the series Wednesday and Thursday.  Ridiculous - LAA had to spend an off day in Minneapolis AND the stadium wasn't full due to it being a work / school day.  Why not have held the damn thing Tuesday night, or even Monday night?

Don't be bitter. If you'd check a little further, you'd see you would be ahead of Whomper 6-4-2, tied with CN 6-6, and only behind Skrap 4-2-6.

So you're not too bad, keep your chin up!
