The Pirates offense physically hurts me.

Good grief, this season is totally different to 2011.  My batting stinks to high heaven.  If I do anything this year, it's going to have to be with pitching.

Today was a day to remember for the DL.

16/35 - 7R, 4 HR, 16 RBI, 5 SB, 457 AVG, 1.438 OPS
2 W, 18K, 2.59 ERA, 1.19 Whip, and had another 4 K and a save on bench.

Now ERA and WHIP are in range, only 1 Hold behind, and 2 saves back with 3 closers going tomorrow, and SB went from out of reach yesterday, to in range now.   I still think this ends up 6-5, I win 5 hitting and 1 pitching, and we tie 1pitching, you win SB, Saves, era and Whip and another pitching.

I'm going to enjoy the early season results while I can.  I picked a fair amount of pitching early and all of the dinosaurs I got on offense are surging early with their younger counterparts.

Well, your offense really poured it on today.  If I am lucky I will pull a tie, but it looks more likely to be a loss.

Looks like 7-5 to me. But of course you had 72 IP to my 45 which gets wins and Ks locked.

BTW, those SBs you though you had yesterday were an illusion - somebody decided to give Swisher (1 for 5) three SBs. Then they wised up.

Good game. Somehow my 5 for 58 last 2 days couldn't keep up with your big 3 who went 31 for 75 for the week.

Guess it's my turn to say, wait'll next game!

LMAO,  I had 54.2 ing pitched to your 50.2. Do you actually look before you post?  So I do not think that is an automatic anything. What is an automatic is my saturday alone total of RBI equaled yours for the week. And my Saturday or Sunday you pick, HR total for the day destroyed yours for the week. 4 to 1, or 3 to 1. And has anyone every lost in AVG by 137 pts before, or OPS by .454. That seems almost impossible to be beaten that badly in those cats. All this with only 2 more AB for the week, even without a 2B for 5 days.  This was a 7-5 mercy killing and had I started the right reliever yesterday, we would have tied saves.  But, congrats on holding onto a 7-5 lead in steals, and not giving that category away as well, as you love to tell the story. It must suck you gave a 11-0 lead away on Thursday, and got beat down this badly just 3 days later.

And yes, I can't wait till next time we meet, or the next 30.

Anyway, back to sanity.  I count myself extremely lucky to have a 7-4 win coming out of this week.  The batting with one or two honorable exceptions is still awful, so I was fortunate that my pitching was good all week and extremely fortunate that Skrappy's BA and OPS were so poor.

Look, I have won much bigger than 7-5 over the years, so this wasnt about talking chit, instead blasting someone for lying while making excuses.  Had he not come here with that weak sauce of 75 IP to 45 IP, thus wins and Ks were a lock, when it was actually 54.2 to 50.2, then there would have been no post.  Did I get carried away in the process and want to embarass the tool, you're damn right I did.  So go ahead and blast me for it. I can take it.  But know this, I am fully aware how humbling this game is, and know I have many ass whippings coming in this league, and I very well may make excuses, but I will never flat out lie in my argument.

Actually I just realized I don't know where they show actual innings pitched in a week! I used the 'totals for last 7 days' which I guess include everything on the roster not just actual counted stats. Sorry to have confusred you, but it did get you a chance to brag a little more. You're welcome.

Beating you is nothing to brag about. Which is why I said that wasnt my intention in the least.  If you look at stat tracker, pitchers,  for the week, it says how many ing pitched among other totals for the week.
