Geez, Sarge, ease up a bit on a guy, will ya?

The four teams that allowed Matt Kemp to drop to Sarge will regret it.

Same for all of us for letting Hamilton drop in round 3.  He is in a contract yr, and has been challenged by the rangers to prove he is worth a big contract.

Now beltre is hurt, hamstrings again.
Ursa you may get me at a good time next week. No Chris Young, No Morse, and now  Beltre probably misses time, if not going on the DL.

Crap, I hadn't realized it was you next week.  I really am looking forward to that.

I gotta give it to you, my draft this year was based on what you did last yr. Offensively you just ran away and hid from teams all season long, and I tried to copy that same formula. Even took one of your guys Kemp in round 1.    This year, I get you twice, so no matter what happens next week, we get to meet again.  And I too am looking forward to our meeting next week.  Both of our offenses are hot right now. Should be a good battle.

Congrats on the perfect game from Humber.  An outstanding pickup for you.

Looks like just about every category could go either way, with the exception of HR, which you clearly have in the bag.  My team just doesn't have enough power, at least right now.  I've probably got holds and steals, and you've likely got RBI and OPS... anything else could changes hands at any moment.  Fun to watch it play out, as long as it doesn't turn into one of those weeks where it's close all week, only for me to lose 8-4 or 9-3 at the last minute.

Or me.  Right now I'd settle for a 6-6 tie which, coincidentally, is exactly where we are, pending a possible save later.

Another week where I was leading slightly, or the game was close throughout the week, just to fall into a big loss for me at the end.  I think I'm going to be hanging around the basement this year.  I made some awful early picks, and they are haunting me so far.   :bash:

Looks like this might really go down to the wire... We both have two SP's going today, and both teams lose a couple of players to rainouts as well.  Meanwhile, it might not affect me all that much this week, but I'm getting bit with the injury bug... Started the season with a full DL, and I've now added Cliff Lee and Brett Gardner as well.  :bash:

Well, there it is.  After a roller coaster week, we end up tied at 6-6.  I lost four batters to rainouts today but I doubt it would have made any difference - the last two might have made up BA but not likely.  All four of our starters won so I stole W at the end and just hung on to WHIP.  I feel I kinda got away with one there.  Tense and interesting game, sir.

This will be a week I look back on if I barely miss the playoffs.  On the other hand when I finish in 16th place I won't care.
