The Irish Doggy
AFC North gets the AFC West and NFC East as compared to last year's NFC West and AFC South. Yikes. Gonna be a tougher year for all of them.

Chief Dick
On another board where I follow NFL broadcasting there was a lot of discussion of the schedule. One of the interesting general observations were related to divisonal matchups. How some teams didn't play their first game with a division opponent until late in the year (CLE-PIT week 12, HOU-IND in week 15, then again 2 weeks later, PIT-BAL wks 11 & 13 , etc.) and others who wrap up a division series in the first half of the season (CLE-CIN by week 6, also CLE-BAL, NYG-DAL, etc.) Somebody speculated that large clumbs of division games are occuring because of the new "Every team will play one Thurdsay game" thing If I remember correctly, I think this started to happen a couple of years ago because the league wanted late division games because of possible playoff ramifications.
