Cosmetics counters at department stores--they will do a free makeover hoping you will buy something when they are finished, of course, but not required...many department stores carry the same lines, but for a really fun experience have her try one of the high end department stores like Needless Markup (Neiman Marcus)...I dont shop there, but I do like going there to get a makeover...they roll out the red carpet, give you free wine while they work on your face... my friend and I tried the Laura Mercier cosmetics. It was really fun, relaxing, and I learned alot of new techniques and felt pampered:)) Just an idea for you to consider:)))

Thanks for the idea.
My wife hates the crowds at Mother's Day brunches. She may like this suggestion instead.

Every few years I don't get her anything and say I forgot. Keeps her on her toes.

On mother's day I let my wife get away with making me a grilled cheese sandwich and some Campbell's soup for supper. It is quick and she doesn't have a bunch of dishes to do afterward. Besides, I don't want her getting too tired before the mother's day BJ.

Both of you are incorrigible.
