Just curious about something:  In a dynasty league, do you specifically have a "rookie" draft or is every player in the league, not already on a roster available but, because rosters are so big, it essentially amounts to a rookie draft because any vet worth a crap is already taken?

In USDA (see above, from Riff), both rooks and leftovers are drafted. I actually picked up Davon Bess in the 6th round.

So zia loves draft picks in multiple leagues.

If I have my preferences, I'd rather build a team through rookie drafts and trades in leagues like this.

No doubt!  Does he even have a roster, or were they all traded for picks??  Talk about a make or break draft for your team.  Although, that said, it appears to be a great year to have a lot of picks.

In GMX, I pretty much decided to totally tear down the team and build through the next couple drafts.  I'll still be able to field a full weekly roster, but a lot of them may be rookies.

You'll really enjoy cutting him in week 3.

Only if he makes my final roster at all! (Depends where T.O. and Plaxico end up.)

Question for those of you in Dynasty leagues with rookie drafts/auctions. How many rounds/players do you go and how does that relate to the size of your Practice/Taxi Squad?

1.01 Richardson, Trent CLE RB ®
1.02 Griffin III, Robert WAS QB ®
1.03 Luck, Andrew IND QB ®
1.04 Martin, Doug TBB RB ®
1.05 Wilson, David NYG RB ®
1.06 Blackmon, Justin JAC WR ®
1.07 Floyd, Michael ARI WR ®
1.08 Wright, Kendall TEN WR ®
1.09 Fleener, Coby IND TE ®
1.1 Quick, Brian STL WR ®
1.11 Pead, Isaiah STL RB ®

My pick of Russell Wilson at 3.05 doesn't look so bad now. With a couple Seahawks fans I didn't think he'd last.

We go 7 and have 12 DTS spots but expanded from the first year when we had 5 I think and 10 spots.
